The ones I have used fit snug and didn't wobble at all.

Whoops I forgot the pictures. Here they are.

We now have the dash and lights wired up with the exception on the water temp gauge. We have all of the lights wired up and we tested them today and they all worked great. The headlights don't look the greatest in my opinion but they will work for now. We should be putting the engine and transmission in early next week. We will be burning rubber in no time.

They were released when the rest of the bits came out if I remember correctly.

It appears that Kobalt has released a new line of screwdrivers that are made in USA with foreign and domestic parts. They don't have many out now but seem decent and have a metal cap on the end. They are nearly $10 each and they have a five peice set for $20. Here is the article on toolguyd.

Dewalt makes a few impact ready ones.

Looks great! Have you guys done any strength testing on them yet?
-
I never could get the coin stack look going. All we use is mild steel here.
-
Looks great. Now you can go to the stadium and tell people that you built that.

Is the 4l60E going to be strong enough?

I would probably get a Miller mig welder. We have a bunch of the 252 ones in our high school shop class and the only problem we have with them is the trigger goes out on them within 3 or so years. You know they are good when 16-18 year olds can't break them. DR we have a good sized Miller tig welder in our shop class and it is a lot different and more difficult. You need to have a steady hand and patience for tig welding. If you do get one make sure it has a dial on the gun and not a foot pedal for the amperage. Ours has the pedal and it is a massive pain to deal with.

We should be salesmen or at least get a certian percentage of the sales we cause.

I have never realized they made screwdrivers.

I have some of my great grandpas tools. We cleaned out his storage shed after we bought his place. He had a few files and a set of wrenches and an Estwing claw hammer that I used to put new shingles on his house.
-
My grandpa has a lot of them and many are over 20 years old and will most likely outlive me as well. To me channel lock doesn't need to market their tools. When I think of pliers they are the brand I first think of.
-
Now that you bought it probably. I'm surprised they haven't yet. There is bound to be enough demand for them to make one.
-
I like it because it will stand out more since it is red instead of gray.

That was a steal Frankie!

Looks great! I bet that it will get up and go. A stock 6.0 is no slouch let alone a built one.
-
Thanks for the input guys. I'm not currently eligible for the discount yet but should be around July or August but I don't need the meter yet either.

I am looking at getting a good multimeter for automotive use. I was either thinking Klein or Fluke. I would like one that measures amperage as well. Auto ranging is not nessecary. I am leaning towards the Klein mm1000 currently.

Isn't bosch's green line basically the European version of skil?

The fuel one comes with 4.0 batteries.

To me the impact looks like the proto with some slight differences.
