Dr99 is exactly right. You will also notice more power and a lot more runtime.
-
I would have took some today but we took the door panels to the guy to get them covered. I will try to take some Friday.
-
I don't think we bashed Dewalt much. When we did bash them we weren't serious.
-
I guess we are going to have to tone back the dewalt bashing.

The interior is almost done. All that is left is to put the door panels in and the seats and that is it for the interior. It looks great so far. It was the upholstery guys last car that he was doing. All that is left is to paint the frame and rear end and put new gaskets and the cam and valve train in the engine and put the new heads on and then wire it up (aftermarket wiring harness) and that will be all of the big items done.

The adaptors for impact drivers cut down the torque quite a bit. I have used the high torque impact dwain mentioned and it will have plenty of torque for any vehicle that is a one ton or smaller. It is a good impact, well balanced and you will be able to rotate all of your tires on one charge.

I got the email about it but I didn't notice it was reconditioned.

I can't get LASIK surgery:(. One eye is nearsighted and the other is farsighted. I have a fairly high dollar pair I use because to me safety isn't worth skimping on.
-
They still make those? We could get one of those Harley's with a small block chevy.
-
The engine is an LS9. That is what is in the zr1 corvette. They have 800, 1000 and 1200hp offerings.
-
You aren't the scout leader are you Chris?
-
Steven Tyler has one. I read in Hot Rod magazine that you can tune the waste gate to get 1400 hp. The engine is based on the chevy LS3 that is in the corvette.

Welcome to my world conductor. I am pretty sure I have 90% of what is needed to be a technician. I just need some specialty used tools
-
Hahaha that was great regopit!
-
That looks great conductor!

I'm right there with you conductor. I would much rather use a separate 1/4 and 3/8 ratchet as well. I don't think I have a single wobble extension, I primarily use flex sockets though.
-
-
I wouldn't use it for a main ratchet. I would think it would be fine to keep in a vehicle though.
-
I think this one tops the list of most gimmicky tool to date. It is a 1/4 inch drive ratchet on one side and a 3/8 on the other. The ratcheting mechanism itself wobbles. The ratchet is also extendable an extra couple of inches. The only thing it is missing is an led light.

I didn't think of it or I would have. It was 149 for the kit. They take slide style batteries.
-
I was at lowes today and I saw that they had a 12v drill, impact, and jigsaw kit for sale. The drill resembled the dewalt somewhat and the jigsaw resembled the craftsman Nextec one. The grip felt fine on them to me. I didn't see any specs on them. Am I the only one who has noticed them?
-
It was enough I could tell it was slower. I have noticed more power with the compact drill with the 4.0 vs the 1.5
-
I know there is on the dewalt 20v line. The big impact was a good bit slower with the compact 1.5 ah battery vs the 4.0. It is probably similar with milwaukee on high amp draw tools.
-
You Kato. I think that the compact batteries can't handle the load and shut off. The overload is built into the batteries on the ryobi tools.

Surprisingly we haven't had much luck with our Stihl weedeaters. We have had new carberautors put on two of the three we have. We have had excellent luck with their chainsaws though. If you buy the high octane (91 or 93) it usually doesn't have ethanol in it. If I'm not mistaken it is required by law to have the pump labeled if the gas contains ethanol.
