Thanks guys. Yes conductor there is a bow window behind the shutters. The difficulty with the curve is getting the angles dead-on or the shutter ends up turning into the room. That shutter installed is about 3 grand where a straight frame would be about half that

Advantages of a Compound Sliding Miter Saw over non-sliding?
PT Custom replied to MarkFitch's topic in Power Tools
I hsve a 10 inch single bevel non slider and mostly use my 7 1/4 single bevel slider ( I cut small trim for shutter installs ) It only weighs 16 pounds and takes very little space in my truck -
Conductor where do you use all these rivets ? Just curious

cordless rivet gun OH YES THERE IS :)
PT Custom replied to wayneburgess's topic in All others not listed
Any of us would be hard pressed to justify this one. Of course I only use a few dozen pop rivets a year -

696.00 and 220 volt charger. Even a tool nut like any -
Awesome power. My tools ( not impact ) are 390

I have never felt the need for 18 volt tools To me they are too bulky/ heavy Even with Lithium. Of course that is specific to my trade I am sure plenty of you prefer the extra power Just curious if you know the inch/pounds of torque The drill provides? One of my guys uses a Metabo corded SDS Hammer drill and loves it. I have not used their cordless products

Finish Nailers Cordless DeWalt 16ga 18v. or Paslode Gas.
PT Custom replied to MarkFitch's topic in Power Tools
I have used my Paslode angled finish nailer for over 10 years. Use it 2-3 times a week and it always performs flawlessly for me. Mine has Nicad battery but it shoots so many nails on a charge it has never been a problem -
Right on Conductor !

I never use drywall screws where shear strength is an issue ( like hand rails, etc) because they are brittle. I am also not a big fan of Phillips screws I do use a lot of trim head screws because I fasten many smaller pieces plus they have square drive heads

Virtually every homeowner or even renter can use a cordless drill. Only a very tiny percentage of us would buy a planer or table saw and those of us who make a living using tools are going to buy whether there is a sale or not. So of course the retailer is not going to waste ad space on such a tiny segment It is just like when you watch a bike race on TV and there are no ads for bikes
