That is just crazy.

This was just plane dumb on my part. I was not paying attention to what I was doing hanging some crown molding. It was at a weird angle holding the trim had my finger on the trigger shoved the gun in and when the gun pushed the safety in it was my thumb and not the trim. I had nailed my thumb to the trim. What a dumb ass move.

Crazy, If you go and drive that thing at 30/40 MPH hit a few good size potholes I don't think you won't fair to well

I shot a finishing nail through my thumb one time. IT went dead center into my finger nail and through the bone. The doctor in the ER had to use a pair of side cutters to cut the head off and a pair if vise grips from my tool box to pull the nail through.

No I have to older model and as for the weight I really did not notice much of a differences. Once you slid the battery on it is well balanced.

Not building just repairing. I have about 400' of privacy fence that needs some attention. The DeWalt nail gun worked flawlessly. I was going to put my PasLode on eBay but they have a ton of them on there now and no one is bidding on them. So I called my son and gave it to him.

I feel your pain. I raised 3 boys and a girl. My feelings have always been if it is something that keeps them out of trouble and we can do it together you can't put a price on that. The plus side of it is when they are older and you need some help and you ask them and they say I'm kind of busy you have a great come back. I was never to busy to do something for you. Not that I have every had to use it but its there just in case.
