  1. I just in AWE that you burn that much firewood in Palm Springs Ca. Nice job.
  2. You don't need that fancy sanchy cart HF hand truck I have the Big Foot 49.99 Or you can get the 600 lb. Capacity Extra Wide Hand Truck $100
  3. You can get it cold and just a little know fact Bud is the number 1 selling beer in Ireland
  4. When I got my DW718 it came with the rolling stand which help make up my mind. The only downside is that they released the DW780 a few weeks later. The only advice I can give is no matter what saw you buy get yourself good blades I like the Diablo 12 in. x 100 Tooth Ultimate Flawless Finish Saw Blade or Forrest. I'm using a Forrest blade now that I picked up on sale of $120.00 they are pricey but well worth the money
  5. I have no problem doing finish with it I just always check the blade for sq. and use a good blade as for the light I not sure but I like the add on one that I have . As for the Wife with a maiden name of O'Mooney how could she not like Guinness. The last time we were in Ireland she was big on the Snake Bite, Magners Cider on the bottom and Guinness floating on top.
  6. She's happy alright. She had been drinking Guinness all day at the beer garden. This was taken in Ocean City Md. This past St. Patricks day woke up the next morning and had 8" of snow on the ground.
  7. They are going fast http://www.festoolusa.com/power-tools/reconditioned/
  8. When it comes to using a drum sander all I can say is keep it moving don't stay in one spot to long. Now as for the Mid size truck I have no idea. I have had a full size truck since I was 18. As a matter of fact the truck I have now is the first shot bed I have ever had (6') ex cab. I do miss the 8' at times but for the most part I very happy with this F150 I have now.
  9. Hey maybe I will see you there. The wife and I are talking about going back next year also.I mean how do you say no to and Irish princess? The only problem I have with the bosch is all of the joints. Maybe in a shop it would ok but I move it from job to job.
  10. You are a lucky man Chris. My wife and I had this discussion the other day as she was packing for the beach. I was on the fence about buying the Hole hawg. She look at me and shook her head saying " as long as I have known you (we were 11) you have never pissed money away bills, family saving, has always on the top of the list. You have to start looking out for yourself more, It's not like you're going to buy it and it will never get used". So I order it but I still can bring myself to spend $1,400 on the Kapex.
  11. Great work and what better way to spend your retirement. You can do what you love and make some cash.
  12. Mark sure that you use screws made for MDF. Dry wall screws could pull out under the weight of the books.
  13. It did not but, I bought one for $35.00 and added. It works great inside, outside in the sun it is useless. You can get it online. I got my from the DeWalt service center. Easy to install after I removed the handle cover it had the plug to hook it up.
  14. It's the price tag. This set up belongs to my friend that's a cabinet maker. I love this saw but I can't bring myself to drop the bucks. My Dewalt DW718 does a great job but I really would like to get the festool.
  15. Come on Chris use the force. Deep down you really know you want this
  16. To cool. You know that it is killing Barnaby to interview Dan and Eric but, it is good to see Barnaby getting a paycheck.
  17. My saw arrived today and I will be giving it a good work out in the AM
  18. If it was up to me this is what I would build to spend the rest of my days in. 3 car garage with a 1 bedroom apartment above it. But we are moving to the beach and the wife wants to have room for when the kids come to visit. Maybe if I double the size to 6 cars and 3 bedrooms she would go for it. One can only wish.
  19. Just gives us more to look forward to in the spring
  20. They must be some very important projects to justify the cost of the Hole Hawg. I talked to the guys over at the Tool Nut and they are waiting for the release as much as we are.
  21. Ok there a few thing 1) a sidewalk is non load bearing it has no footer and most sidewalks are not reinforced. 2) Most concrete used in sidewalks has a 3,000 psi rating a garage should be 3,500 to 4,000 psi and reinforced and 5 to 6 in thick. The list can go on but these are the first two things that popped in to my head
  22. My first wife passed away from breast cancer when she was 38. That was 20 years ago and I have to say that the pink in support of awareness and research has made a change. Not so much as a cure but the help and support the patient's get.
