You never know, but it won't be anytime soon. Porter Cable makes a great belt sander (352VS) check out some reviews. Porter Cable and Dewalt are part of the same company.
Being in the U.S. I have no info as far as product launches in Eur. But I noticed it took 2-3 months to launch the XR in Eur after it was released in the U.S. So I guess be a little patient, should be out soon. Only one of the vacs (cordless only) have launched so far in the U.S. and the Gyro Screwdriver just started shipping a few weeks ago.
Are you referring to the edge guide? If so, the one pictured is the DW6913 and works with the plunge base to my understanding. There is also the DNP618 which works with the standard base, according to reviews on amazon it also will work with the plunge base.
They are not out in the US so I don't know for sure, but I pulled this off a website that did a review.
Nail length – Clipped Head 2? – 3.5?
Shank diameters – .113? – .131?
Stick angles – 30 – 34 degrees

Where does it say 40 watt hour? This is the 2.0Ah pack. There is also a 4.0 Ah pack available now that has twice as many cells as the one we are looking at.
Nope, this won't hurt the batteries. There is no memory on these lithium batteries. They also have 2 year warranties on the 1.5/2.0 Ah batteries and 3 year warranties on the 3.0/4.0 Ah packs.

The guard you are looking for is a part and you need to order from the site above.
I believe the guard part number is 397661-01
Sounds like the drill is broken, you can take it to an authorized or factory service center and have it repaired. If the drive isn't spinning but the motor is, it's definitely broken, it's not supposed to do that. Sorry for the disappointment.
The Brushless combo kits with the drill and impact will only be offered with 2.0 Ah packs because the drill is considered a "compact drill". The impact drivers will both be offered alone with either a 2.0 Ah or 4.0 option.
All this can be found here: http://www.dewalt.com/20v-XR-extreme-runtime-brushless-motors
The brushless tools don't have any more fancy electronics than a normal drill. It's just a different motor. Dewalt came out with their first brushless impact last summer and their has been no issues.
Looks like you need this one? http://dewalt.com/tools/dust-management-dust-extractor-accessories-dwv9190.aspx
If you go to a HD or Lowes they have a bunch of different adapters available for all sizes. Another option...
