  1. Added the 991 to my 887 impact. We have a few sds drills so I skipped the hammerdrill option. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  2. Go sds for sure whether you do cordless or AC. Huge difference in performance between an sds and a regular hammer drill. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah neither did my Bosch nor do the other 2 Milwaukee ones my partner has nor does my older 18v ones. Hopefully it is just a fluke and not "within tolerance". Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  4. Hope it is ok to put this here...does this seem excessive? I used this for the first time yesterday and noticed it when driving in some 3" screws. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  5. For 12v I love my Bosch stuff! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  6. Gonna give yellow a try again. Loved my Bosch 18v brushless impact but didn't like the drill or cordless saw. My partner has red and has has 3 different trigger issues...pass. The 887 was on special at my Ace and I have the 991 coming. Now if they will just release a 20v 6.5" brushless saw.... Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  7. I wonder if the battery on the back gives it a funny balance point...still looks cool. All track saws are blade right...you don't need to see the cut on a track saw...kinda the point of the track. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  8. That's great! If they price it right it will be a hit. The tough system is a great way to upfit a van or trailer! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  9. This is like the classic Ford vs Chevy debate...and of course Ford! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  10. Any idea on a timeline for the other stuff@wildroamer? Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  11. I was pumped for this event 2 days ago with the hope of more than just the 60V platform and we got more...but I do still want/need a smaller 6-1/2" circular saw and I would prefer a brushless, left blade model. I was really hoping it would have been part of this release. Now the cordless metal hanger nailer looks sweet!!!
  12. Yeah I was hoping for some new 20v tools as well.
  13. Oh boy!! It feels like Christmas today!!!
  14. Ran a 20 oz. smooth and 24 oz. framer Estwing for years. Switched to the Dewalt mig welded smooth and mill face hammers. Like those a lot. Just decided to try out the TiBone framer to see what the hype is all about. Start framing our next new build next week so it will get a work out. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  15. I was thinking an hour didn't seem so bad for that large of a battery. A full size dual mode miter saw is interesting...what next?! Looking forward to tomorrow. I do hope they have a 20v brushless saw and recip saw too. I like the blade left 6-1/2" size for cordless. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  16. Battery weight is big. I also prefer the smaller 2ah when I don't need the extra runtime/power. That is why I think this is a great addition not replacement for the 20v line. A recip saw is a good example. When I am using one it is for tougher, longer tasks that usually I grab a power one for. Cutting window openings on a new build, cutting out plates, or when doing demo on a remodel it is used a ton and usually not just 5 minutes at a time.
  17. Oh I am sure they do...but we won't see them. Bosch has the biggest list of NAINA tools out there. I have imported a couple of their 12v tools that we can't get. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  18. The site said the grinder was a 4.5" to 6"...I presume it could handle up to a 6" disc. Bosch is falling further and further behind, at least in the US market, for cordless tools. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  19. For some reason I thought I read 339 cuts for the 60v saw... Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  20. Looks like Acme took down everything... Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  21. I don't see this as them dropping the 20v line but adding to its versatility. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  22. So some of the speculation in this thread just got relevant...lol!
  23. Very true. They didn't make the old tools extinct with the new platform like they did with the 20v max change. All your old tools will work on the new platform which will let you upgrade to newer tools as you see fit while still using your older stuff with the newer batteries. Smart on their part.
  24. It is and I have been in tool limbo for larger cordless tools for awhile now. I still run some Dewalt 18v l-ion stuff. My partner just upgraded his tools to team red but has had a ton of trigger issues. Granted they were all fixed for free but it has been a hassle. I ran some Bosch 18v stuff for awhile but sold most of it because I just didn't like the saw handle feel and the drill was a bit weak. I loved the brushless impact!!! I also like their brushless sds but the handle on the Dewalt is much better so that is going to be sold too. For compact tools I do like my Bosch 12v stuff!!
