  1. This is why I am moving back to Yellow for my 18v (20v) tools.
  2. You have the most lenient Home Depot in all of the world!
  3. Good to know. I have really enjoyed my TiBone and I think it is made in the US.
  4. I want that catspaw! Nice grab Chris! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  5. I really want to see the new 450 in person. This could be my new trim tools setup. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  6. The grinder is the one tool I am most likely to wear safety glasses with. Lots of rpm's and sparks make my eyes nervous...lol! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  7. I find the weight of the nailer to be on par with other cordless guns. I hqve 2 gas framers I will gladly sell you. That is the best part of the Dewalt...no gas!! No cleaning, no cold temperature issues, no running out of gas during a job...etc. When I bought the nailer I did not have any other Dewalt 20v tools either. Buy the kit and you habe what you need. 8. I doubt it and if they do it would be years before the U.S. saw it....get the Dewalt kit...it is awesome! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  9. I think for shop work and finish guns a Senco 1010 compressor and air nailers are the best for you. Low cost, small space consumption, proven long term reliability of air.
  10. Is it just me or did Bosch really go backwards on their new impact design? It is big and ugly!
  11. Awesome stuff! You guys really put out a nice thought out review! Like others here...surprised by Hitachi! It's a shame they don't have a bigger presence in the market if they are producing good tools like that. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  12. Yes it is. I did Ebay for $170.
  13. I have been loving it framing our current house. The grip is perfect! I love the little thumb detent is has molded in.
  14. Cutting another cord/hose! New metal connector nailer.

  16. Just ordered ours last week and gotmit yesterday! Will be way more convenient vs dragging the hose around when we install hangers and truss clips! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  17. We bought the Dewalt cordless framer last year when it was on a discount when they switched models. Ours supposedly did not have the rapid fire mode. It had the switch but you could not move it. Last week our helper says that switch worked and asks if I knew it could do that. Holy cow!! That is a whole new gun!! I love it even more
  18. Damn Moze that looks great! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks! Been a small custom builder and remodeler for 18 plus years. I enjoy this forum. Don't post a ton but some. This is a new home. Approx 3,000 sq ft plus a basement. High energy efficiency is the goal for this one. Got started on walls today. Tools we had in use were Milwaukee Fuel saw, Dewalt 18v saw, Senco air framer, Dewalt cordless framer, Skilsaw wormdrive, Dewalt 12" miter saw, Dewalt 20v drill, Milwaukee Fuel impact, and a few more. 20. Framing today...finished the Advantech, squared the foundation, and started laying out walls. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  21. I don't think it is new school as much as you just not really having the need....and that's ok. If all I did was smaller remodels or at home projects I wouldn't see the point either. Right now we are framing a 3,000 sq ft home. The hammer gets used way more than you think for actual nailing even though we own and use several air guns and the Dewalt cordless. Toe nailing a stud in quick, nailing the top plate together, installing trusses, tacking the floor, wall, and roof osb before we final shoot it with the air gun or screw gun, nailing off temp bracing, etc. Easily 100 plus lbs of hand nails on each house. At the end of the day I am also glad my tool belt is just a little lighter because the hammer isn't an old 24 or 28 oz Estwing (my first framers). Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
  22. It's a nice hammer. Used it for awhile last week framing. It is a tad bigger than the Dewalt 15oz mig welded framer I switched from. Nice balance and feel to the handle. Only complaint so far is the handle grip is a little grippy being new so it tends to grab my hammer loop as I pull it out. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
