Okay I don't need this thing at all. So why do I want one.
-
I grabbed this Sunday at my HD, 18 volt 7-1/4 inch cordless. They had it on clearance for $50.00. I got this for my 20 year old niece to use. She wants to start doing some crafting/woodworking projects and I am not so sure about her using my 12 inch Bosch Glide.

I picked this up last week. Just wanted the 2 batteries so I would have extra for the Ryobi Airstrike, work light, and inflator/deflator I got. But they had a deal where if you bought the hammer drill you could get the 2 - 4 Ah batteries for free. The drill does not really fit in with all the other yellow cordless tools I own.

That is true a manager can change a store. I have been to HD's with great service and some that are lacking.

Will this saw let you use a dado stack. I noticed some of the DeWalt would not take a dado.
-
That's a nice deal.

Sorry for your loss Comp.

The guy told me that they found these in the overhead and they were already on clearance. He said that it does happen more than you think.
-
My HD has 3 of these at $125.00 clearance.
-
I am glad you got them before they marked them down and threw them in the garbage.
-
I do buy their clamps along with few other items already mentioned.

Nice job man. Those turned out great.

That is an great deal. I bought this saw a few weeks ago at $139.00 and no free battery. I should have waited.

Nice score man.

I laughed when AvE mentioned that he got the DeWalt from Clark Griswald and the Muffin Man.
-
I do actually use it. I did not think I would when I got it.
-
I have both but my wife bought me a Kobalt Double Drive for Christmas a few years ago and I thought gimmick. But I find myself grabbing it every time I needed a screwdriver.
-
John you are getting deep into it now.
-
I do also have a Irwin Marples 10 iinch 50 tooth combination blade that cuts really nice.
-
John look at you getting all crazy with your tool money. Truck still looks great at 10 years old. I wish I had went ahead a bought a Tundra instead of my Tacoma. There is not that much difference in price and MPG between the two.

I am a fan of the Diablo blades.

Welcome Steve. There are a lot of great people here.
