  5. looks like fun, spent last week doing some site surveys for new services and went up several mountains, im in northern arizona, its not flat and warm, its friggin cold and will be snowing soon. i do not envy those who climb the towers here, how does climbing at 10k feet on top of mountain sound?
  6. yeap if i can see and play around with the larger items, i will usually more likely buy them, with rigid, first time i seen them, played with them and bought them right there.
  7. im actually, quite surprised on the battery prices, only $20 difference from the 4-5ah. and still under $150.
  8. I'm new to dewalt cordless tools, I bought one of the 20v max kits from hd daily deal yesterday and it comes with the 2ah battery I see there are 3/4/5 ah batteries, are the they compatible with all 20v max tools?
  9. i jumped on the deal, i don't need it, but for the price why not?
  10. dang that looks bad, for odd cuts that cant be avoided, i often used cordless saws, as the there isnt enough torque to have any major kickback. but ive had many close calls, was always wearing my PPE despite my experience with the tools, high quality gloves saved my fingers multiple times from saws and grinders.
  11. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Micro-CA25-Inspection-Camera-40043/203258908 stopped by HD this weekend and went little crazy and picked all kinds of fun toys. Had to pickup this inspection camera, really like it for the price. on sale right now for $79 uses 4xAA batteries, i think if anyone needs a basic inspection camera, this is hard to pass up.
  12. stopped by HD and seen the new rigid storage boxes, couldnt find any toughboxes anywhere, so im getting the the rigid boxes, a lot cheaper too.
  13. cool, i just purchased the kit, waiting anxiously, ive yet to pull away from makita for the simple fact is the LXT system is proven platform and makita is only getting better at it, ive used all the major professional brands, none have the track record that makita has, ive only recently wanted to upgraded not because my current tools are no longer useful, they are beat to hell but still work flawlessly, i just wanted the latest tech that performs better with some fresh new 4.0 ah batteries and will last another 1000 rounds in hell.

  15. The dewalt 745 table saw has been avg price around $299 to $350,its been at $299 at HD for a while now and doubt it will go any lower as it seems its still a current model. I'm also wanting to pickup that model as I want a portable table saw and that's a decent one.
  16. Sounds like a plan, all the impacts I've used were always one speed, gotta try the 3 speed option, I'm definitely getting the rotary hammer, maybe get the circular saw in the future, my current lxt 6 1/2 saw gets me by, but interested in the brushless one when its released.
  17. hows the visibility? looks kinda dark. ive been wanting one of those kits, should have jumped on that deal a while ago that included the fixed and plunge bases.
  18. Im about to jump on a makita kit at toolnut, for the new everthing, new 4.0ah batteries in the kit, new XPH07Z hammer drill, and the free 36v tool of course. now the 2 kits im stuck between is the XT252M and the XT257M, only difference i see is the impact driver included in each kit, which would you say has the better impact, the XDT08Z or XDT01Z?
  19. Been looking at the boxes and thinking about getting into the system, I want to store and carry power tools and small hand tools for specific uses. What would be a good box to start with and build from?
  20. Any official word on price and availability?
  21. I've been using CLC bags, specifically the 18inch multi compartment tool bag, it carries almost everything I need, plenty of room for drills and batteries and charger which is what I carry in it. Got it mainly for price, around $50, the bag has held up nicely.
  22. they need to model some makita jack hammers in SLOOOW MOTION!
  23. awesome! welcome, i wish there was store that had makita display like that.
