  1. Anyone have any luck with them? Just found 4 in the top stock at my local HD. HD discontinued them. At first glance: Pro: comes with fittings Cons: doesn't even say DeWalt on the damn hose.
  2. What do you mean "just....?" That's pretty major if you ask me lol.
  3. I'm always late to the party.
  4. Amazon has a few for less than $10.
  5. They work great on the small 4" shroud and cup wheel. But the 7" is just chewing up concrete and thinset faster than the vacs can Handle.
  6. Started tearing out tile to do stained concrete. I have two DeWalt DWV012 vacs, a big 7" grinder, DeWalt 7" dust shroud and a 7" cup wheel. My vacs can't not keep up with the grinder and DUST EXPLOSION. Better than no vac, but I wouldn't even say it's catching more than 60%. Brand new filters, fleece bags, paper bags, it doesn't matter. I am strongly entertaining the idea of making a dust separator for a 30 gallon trash can to help with the need for changing out filters and emptying bags but I'm wondering if there is anyone that has done anything like connecting vacs in parallel (or in series) not sure of the terminology I want for this. Would putting a simple Y on the vac side be the best option? I definitely need to maximize airflow and suction without the two vacuums fighting each other. Any ideas or recommendations?
  7. It was in the timeframe but they're claiming water damage. Which is understandable. He's a PLUMBER. it was picked up from our shop with about a dozen other tools. And yes, it was all assembled.
  8. One of my plumbing techs sent in his M12 Hackzall and they wouldn't cover under warranty so he didn't want to pay for repairs. This is how it's sent back.
  9. I've even had responses on weekend and holidays on social media while the standard customer service was closed.
  10. I'm not one for doing it on Social Media but unfortunately, it's sometimes the only way to get results. Businesses have entire departments that focus on handling their web presence. Those representatives often are given higher authority to help customers. I've called customer service with other businesses before and got the run around then post to their Facebook and problem was resolved in 48 hours.
  11. I have two of the kits because I liked them so much. The D handle really come in handy. The only issue I have is the soft start. It's so soft, it can be a nuisance. Often times, I pull the trigger and my reaction is so quick that I find myself releasing the trigger, thinking the router isn't powering on.
  12. I have 5 or 6. I got one with each one of my DeWalt heated jackets and a couple at different promos at HD & Lowes events. They're VERY handy. Especially for all the electronic devices, phones, iPads, Nook and Kindles.

  14. It almost looks like veneered plywood?
  15. I did this weekend. All day for three days while I was doing our backsplash.
  16. I ran it for 8 hours straight on a station that supposedly has time support and HD. Clock never caught up to actual time.
  17. I guess you could use some long pieces of threaded rod from the stand all the way up through the base of the saw. Use double nuts and loctite to set your spacing. Then put wing nuts on the very top to hold the saw on for easy removal. However, the base is cast and I'd be very concerned with it fracturing.
