  1. My focus shifted to other things and I have up for the time being. I have to get some other things organized before I get to this corner of the garage.
  2. Open any doors and windows, turn on any fans you have, put on some goggles and a dust mask and blow out what you can. The only saving grace I have is that I can open my garage door, get out the blower and compressor hose and start making a dust cloud
  3. I have been fighting a battle for four years. The ideal situation for me, seems to be a combination of things. I am currently working on a wall rack for my Tough Boxes. I also have these. And three gladiator rolling cabinets. Shelves were HORRIBLE for me. My father in law built the same ones Dan has in his Garage for me and I have been slowly taking them out section by section.
  4. My only issue with Advance Auto is their codes often don't work with certain items. Like Rotella oils for example. I'll have to try this out.
  5. My first SET was the Skil set from Lowe's. It is usually about $99 but during Christmas, it goes to $49. It's a disposable set in my eye. I don't use it on hard woods.
  6. Correction. I have a type 1 & type 2. The type 1 is the conical filters and the type 2 is the cylindrical filters. Need to figure out if they're cross compatible.
  7. Yes. It should be. The runtime on a 1.3ah battery may not be incredibly long on the multi tool though.

    How?

I haven't had fantastic luck with DeWalt's national service. But my local service center is awesome. National service center always starts off by telling me to ship my tool on my dime. My local center gives me no trouble. Took two 12v 1.3 ah batteries last week and they handed me two 2.0ah. without a word. In and out in 10 minutes.
  9. Go Collated if you can. The DeWalt collated gun is awesome. So many more nails with less reloads. It's tiresome when framing but you get used to it. And when it comes to sheeting, you just can not even compare.
  10. Nice! I'm finally getting around to building a Tough System rack for my cases. It's going to be a wall mounted rack that will stack everything up to about 6" tall, up to 9' off the floor and leave 2-3' underneath for additional storage. I picked up the steel tube yesterday. Gonna start welding it up this week.
  11. We opened up a hose yesterday to see how it unwinds and to test its "memory" or the lack thereof. And I have to say that I am very impressed. It's a super light hose but not super cheap. There is virtually no memory in the hose and it winds up nicely. I prefer smaller loops and my dad likes larger loops. We were able to easily take the same hose into our own preferred loop size and maintain a clean bundle. The female end is a quick connect meaning the ends push together without having to pull the sleeve back. The sleeve stays retracted when disconnected and when you go to connect it, it then releases forward to lock it in. Overall, I can not believe these didn't workout for DeWalt.
  12. This is pretty cool for a portable air hose. http://www.pneupowerus.com/recoiler.html It's got me thinking to figure out a way to use a Tough System XL case to store a hose reel.
  13. I'd just buy a new set and use the case. Put the bits in another case. There are some bigger sets that have many empty slots for additional bits.
  14. Just found 12 more. I hope they're good. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]
  15. I think this would be an awesome addition to the toolbox in the event you don't have the right size fitting. It's a lot quicker than running to the store and buying the right size. Especially when working on car engines. How many trips to the parts store do we all make when you're in a bind.
  16. A Ryobi Phone Works Crossline Laser Klein Backpack loaded with Klein tools Milwaukee Gen 2 Impact kit & Gen 2 Drill/driver kit.
  17. If anyone just so happened to snag a screenshot, I'd be very grateful if it happened to end up in my PM. [emoji16]
  18. Not sure. I'll keep at least one, maybe two. My dad may take 1-2. So I'll see what's left and maybe put them on flea-bay.
  19. Oh I know. I was just pointing out that it's different.
  20. The model number is even different. DAP14050 vs DWFP1450D
  21. It's also made in China. Not the US.
  22. It's like a poly rubber hybrid. It's rated to 300 PSI. Specs are different on the box than on those sites
