Did anyone win? I question DeWalt's integrity on some of their contests. One contest never had a winner posted and all the info to the contest was deleted. I thought I saved the rules so I could send in for winner verification but couldn't find it.

It's a great little tool. It stays in my truck and probably sees more run time individually as any of my other tools. My daughter loves it too. Perfect for a 4 year old!

What I like about DeWalt (I'm sure other big companies do it too) is their connection with contractors and tradesmen. I participate in their surveys and have had them visit jobs a few times to see how we operate and take our feedback to make their tools and systems as functional as possible. I'm sure the feedback just doesn't justify certain peoples' wish list as it doesn't work with the majority based on their research.

I've looked at buying this kit a few times. It's always been on back order and also didn't want to buy an adapter. The impression fittings also seem cheap and ALWAYS pull apart when you're using it.

That's awesome! Amazon has them here in the states. Not very expensive. I may just consider trying this setup. Would make cord management a lot easier on the vac. I also like the idea of customizing a hose mated along with a power cord for the tools to be used with the vac.

I don't think you'll see it at HD before the end of the year. HD typically adds SKUS well before the item is available. They also ship the new items to stores (especially DeWalt) a month before the sku goes active so each store can have fair game on selling new products. Kind of like the release of new Air Jordan's.

Dan did a quick review a while back. http://youtu.be/-GylvdmxGPs They're great to have. I think I'm waiting to see how the green lasers pan out. I've always wondered why tool manufacturers haven't used green because it is much more fine at long distances and can be seen easier in high light situations.

I broke down and ordered it. I got Home Depot to match Amazon's promo. I ordered the hog ring anvil as detent pins in some of the powerful impact require a more powerful tool to remove the dang socket.

I tried at two HD's and no one budged. How would you feel about sending me a copy of a receipt? I'm sure I could persuade them that way.

I just dedicated a short bungee cord that holds the hose to the handle. Not the prettiest thing, but it works. It's a black and yellow bungee if that helps.
