  1. Film us a demo bischop !
  2. I think the more 'negative' reviews are from some time ago. Makita was abit slow in releasing new tools and they were quite late in releasing batteries/tools with anti deep discharging tech ( The number 1 way too kill your batteries, and henceforth the many " makita batteries suck" on the inet. All brands had this problem really in the past). That's all old news now tho Last year was a great year for Makita i think. Quite some king of the hill top end tools. The Brushless hammer drill, angle grinder, circ saw, jig saw, impact driver, impact wrench, etc.... only see their equal in milwaukee most of the time. But Makita has the fastest charge time in industry ( with all these high draw tools it could be a blessing ! ) and also the largest selection of 18V compatible tools giving you all the cordless options you ever want.
  3. And some more info on the blower: http://www.makita.biz/product/category/cordless/dub362/index_f.html#1 Seems to be the most powerfull cordless blower at the moment? And also the longest runtime ( atleast compared to the Stihl and Hitachi cordless blowers )
  4. Thats an ' old ' type of battery thats been along for some time but wasnt available in all countries and was quite expensive
  5. Ner: Some more info here : http://www.makita.biz/product/category/cordless/dur365u_dur364l/index_f.html#2
  6. Thats an awesome deal. Man here in belgium we pay ( does have 2 batteries ) 500 ish euro's for the grinder set
  7. Let us know what you think of that bad boy Illini !
  8. Awesome ! Didnt know that its good they fix those things !
  9. We have them here but noone seems to care people here only want ' bigger is better'!! They want fat packs on everything.
  10. Well somewhere in the near future the 18V 2.0 Ampts ( BL1820 ) is going to be replaces by the BL1820B . The B meaning the battery will have an onboard capacity indicator. Could be the stock of BL1820's are gone in your country and that they are awaiting the newer type BL1820B with capacity indicator.
  11. I think this one will have about tripple the vacuuming power compared to the stick vac my guess
  12. They also have a coffee bean harvester out in the warmer countries
  13. We've got that tracksaw out for 3 years or so but it doesnt really sell all that welk. Kinda misses some features i think for its price. :/
  14. Ey that's a Bosch 36V battery ! Are they interchangable?
  15. Yeah about time they followed EVERY other brand out there with this
  16. Page from the Latin America Catalog: http://www.makitalatinamerica.com/ebook/ebook_pr/data/950/src/950_18.pdf Shows the new vacuum. It can run from AC or Dc. On Ac is has thesame 1050 Watt engine altho the specifications show a higher suction power so maybe an improved design wich is more efficient? On DC ( Dual 18 V Batteries ) the Suction is halved but almost double the suction power of the makita portable DCV350 vacuum so thats cool =) The power cord is detachable for when you want to run it on batteries
  17. Here's a page from the Latin America Makita catalog. http://www.makitalatinamerica.com/ebook/ebook_pr/data/950/src/950_14.pdf Shows us ( very small ) the BL1850B, BL1840B and the BL1820B. 4.0 Amp, 5.0 Amp en 2.0 Amp batteries with battery indicator As soon as i get my hands on one I'll post pics !
  18. I do nog know the dewalt or AEG tools but that dlx2000 set is an excellent combo to start with. Strong but compact drill. A very Nice impact. Both brushless tools and a industrie fastest charging time. No doBtime because of battery charging. Makita also had the largest 18 volt selection available so getting a cordless sds/ grinder/ etcc on thesame batteries is no problem at all
  19. Back to the rumours ! I want too see the M18 Magnetic drills !!!
  20. Welk that maybe explains it in the netherlands for example there are serious fees if the " health and safety comittee " catches you on a worksite and the people working for you there do not have the required dust reducing measures and vacuum.
  21. Hmmm Didn't know that. Do you have any laws in the USA that says that you HAVE to use dust extraction?
  22. Maybe also a part of the price setting. No accessoires but tools are alot cheaper then here in europe. But can't your local dealer just order the dust accessoires? I'll check in the store toorrow of our jigsaws 'shoot' it out or not
  23. Owww ok Those "extra' accessoires almost always come with a tool here
