Here in belgium the Makita demo vans have had their stickering removed. They are now completly black and anonymous. Half a year ago one of those vans was stopped and robbed and the Makita Rep guy had a gun to his head to keep him down on the ground while his whole van got robbed. Makita's Belgium reaction was to remove all stickers/lettiering/stickers from the vans.

All depends on your country yet again. Makita's 4.0 AH are € 99 here in belgium. And the 5.0 Ah are about €120. Belgium's expensive =)

Yeah the Makita X2 is only good if you already have some makita tools and thus batteries + a charger

Well personal opinions aside... The reviews do show a clear advantage in power/cutting speed and runtime for the Makita.. IF and only If you are okay with having 2 charged batteries on there. The weight difference is so small that having a decent tool balance solves it. Even with batteries installed the Makita X2 is lighter then some corded saws of that capacity. It's up to what you want to do with it. Convenience: Milwaukee Fuel Power speed and runtime: Makita X2

Well all brands always find a way to make their tool the best in their own testing I wouldn't trust tests made my makita / milwaukee / dewalt /bosch about their own tools

There's a littlebit more to it really Added bluetooth Larger higher wattage speakers Antenna finnaly has a hinge so you can safely "twist" it in a downward position Digital tuner for better music ( Dont know if that is a thing in America but here in Belgium / netherlands most radio channels send out digitally which gives a better sound quality then the old ' FM ' ) And it was a decent radio to start with

Can't be old because 2.0 amp is only out for a year. Normal charge time should be around 25 Minutes for a 2 amp on a DC18RC. " if" the batteries were hot then the charger would have cooled them down to a good temp before starting to charge them. Drain em ( no worries. any tools that had 2.0 amp batteries with them has over discharge protection ) and try charging them again and check the time again. If problem persist: Take it back to your dealer and have it replaced. Could be a construction mistake

Yeah since its an impact you Can pretty Much hold it in 2 fingers and it will screw in without any problem you do not have to apply any pressure nor will the bit strip out Nog the strongest/ fastest impact since it it angled but it gets the work done ^^
