    Home Depot

I need to log in more often, I bought those at full price and liked them. Need to go to HD tomorrow.
  2. I'm looking for a deal on a Lincoln powermig 210 MP. I see where a promo ended July 32st. Does anyone one have any inside knowledge or experience that would lead them to believe Lincoln will have another promo in the near future? Im not in a huge hurry to buy so I can wait a couple months. Thanks John
  3. Did anyone end up getting one of these hedge trimmers? I might be in the market for a trimmer and have the DeWalt 20v line, or Milwaukee 18v, or Milwaukee 12v.
  4. Went to the local acme tool at lunch. Went with the red 2763 kit. Came with an extra 5 amp battery for $329. Im sure it will do everything I want. Thanks for the relplys and help
  5. Thanks again. Correct. Impact wrenchs. ?
  6. I intended to put this in the general power tool forum. If if a moderator could move it great. John
  7. All great replies. Torque is is more important than speed. Use will be around the farm on heavy equipment. Im invested in the dewalt 20 volt line But would not be opposed to buying into Milwaukees line. I've had great luck with their customer service. Thanks again john
  8. What are the part numbers for the latest Milwaukee or DeWalt 1/2" impact drivers? I could have used one last night and didn't have one, so now I think I'm going to pick one up. I'm not trying to start a flame war, but what are some of the pluses and minus's of each? Thanks, John
  9. They didn't have the work bench at my local HD, but they did have the smaller chest and it looks like they dropped the price on the bigger chest kit by $100. I think it was originally $700 for the pair, now it's down to $600.
  10. I got an email last night from Dewalt that they are now available. http://www.dewalt.com/tools/20v-max-batteries-dca1820.aspx?utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=http%3a%2f%2fwww.dewalt.com%2ftools%2f20v-max-batteries-dca1820.aspx&utm_campaign=3.24.16_18V+Adapter_PPG
  11. I second this comment. Unless you have experience with a chain saw and plan on using it enough to take the time to learn how to use it correctly, I would go with the recip saw. Husky makes good stuff, don't know the other brands. If you decide to go the chain saw route, go to youtube and search on Husqavarna's site. Lots of great safety information on their site. I currently have two Still's and have no complaints.
  12. I've got a couple of Milwaukees and I'm trying to like them, but they just won't stay securely locked. I like everything else about them, but the break loose too easily. I have a Stanely Leverlock that is close to I bet 25 years old and it's great, but starting to show it's age.
  13. Great review, good to see young guys getting involved in tools.
  14. Holly Buckets, send some to Dan and Eric for them to do a video on giving each other tattoos!
  15. Thanks for the link, I remember reading that a while back, but had forgotten.
  16. Finally pulled the trigger on this vise yesterday. I will try to get it mounted this weekend. Looking forward to using the hammer. John
  17. Stopped into my local Acme Tool yesterday and picked up a couple of items. I asked them if they had any of the adapters yet and they said no, they were not going to get them until DeWalt "fixed the problem with them". According to them, DeWalt is still having overheating problems with them. For what it's worth. John
  18. Thanks for the video, I would have drove the boot out socket on there with a hammer and then backed it out with the Beast. That would have put it to the test. John

    USB adapter???

We got to thinking about them as a way to charge phones etc during trips and possible power outages. sound like they would be handy for many things.

    USB adapter???

Very nice, I will have to see if I can find one to pick up. Thanks all

    USB adapter???

I seem to remember seeing Eric with a USB cord plugged into a Dewalt battery. Does Dewalt make an adapter that you can charge your phone etc from one of their batteries? John
  22. Great job on the video. Looks like it would do everything a DYI guy would need and then some.

    Knives

I had to chime in on this one. I rotate between a Benchmade Griptillan, min grip and my current favorite a Zero Tolerance, ZT make some great stuff for reasonable money. Co-workers get nervous if I carry one of the knives in the picture!
  24. The local HD did not have them, so it looks like I'm going to have to go to the net for one. I'm seeing $39 so far for the adapter alone. Anyone seeing anything cheaper? John
  25. Ok, thanks, I think I will play with Camel, Camel, Camel and see if I can snag a deal.
