  1. Perhaps I missed it, but what tool are you guys using to track things on Amazon? I found a site called. Camel,Camel,Camel that you sign into and add something to your watchlist and it will tell you when it drops to the price you want to pay. Any other tools to use?
  2. Went to Costco yesterday and saw their version of the Franklin. It had a level on the back of it.
  3. Nice video and great setup on your cart. John
  4. One of my local HD's had a fastback two pack for $10. If they still have them on Monday, I might snag a pack.
  5. There's one on my local craigslist for $260 bare tool. Used very little.
  6. I didn't take advantage. My guess is I will regret it. I've been eyeing the 3/8 driver for a while. I'm a little over on my tool budget. I bought four of the Milwaukee part organizers and three of the 13" tool buckets on clearance for $24.
  7. Hopefully the link will work for your area. http://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay?mi_u=146420618&cm_mmc=hd_email-_-SBOTD_MoveableInk_A-_-20160101_sbotd_2898851-_-sbotd_cta&et_rid=81160686
  8. Good deal, that looks like a good saw to have, semi portable and powerful enough for most jobs.
  9. Great job, I continue to want to learn more about electrical, it's nice to see such a neat job. Shows you take pride in what you do. John
  10. Merry Christmas to everyone and many many more.
  11. Merry Christmas everyone, it's always a great day when you can have your tool in your hand and put it in action! John
  12. Thanks, I heard Dan and Eric talk about it on the giveaway video, but forgot to sign up, so I went there as soon as I read this.
  13. Congrats to all the Milwaukee winners.
  14. Great giveaway, it must be tough to decide and pull names from so many places. Thanks to all the companies that donate their tools. Great PR.
  15. I know what you mean, I got sucked into a couple of Craftsman pliers that don't work worth a darn.
  16. Feels solid enough. The stubby is not ratcheting, but the full size is. Good variety of bits and the full size has a good grip on it. I think it will prove to be a decent buy.

Saw the Ryobi miter saw stand and saw on display at one of the local HD's. I don't need one, but looks decent.
  18. I picked up the Milwaukee two screwdriver special at HD. It included the stubby with multiple bits and the ratcheting full size for $14.
  19. Thanks for all the replies. Yes I was looking for hex to square drive. I went to HD today and found a Makita 3/8 and 1/2 inch, but they were tilting so I didn't buy them. There are several in this thread that looks like they would do the job. Thanks again, John
  20. Socket adapter for impact driver or drill. What are you using? I need to get a set to use for either the impact driver or drill. Thanks, John
  21. Here is my Milwaukee customer service story on their tool chest. I have since picked up several of their hand tools due to this great experience. http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/7248-milwaukee-great-customer-service/
  22. Later this week we have a contractor coming in to coat our garage floor. They are going to use a product by Rock Tred and it's a polymer epoxy. There are areas of the concrete where the surface is coming loose. You can tap on it with a hammer and can tell by the sound that it is loose or hollow underneath. Some areas much worse than others. I have broken out the worse areas and question how far to go with breaking out the areas that sound a little hollow, but seem to be pretty solid. They said that they will fill these areas in with a quick drying epoxy, then go over them with the coating. My question is, how far do I go breaking out the old stuff? Anyone have any experience with this type of repair? Thanks John
  23. Who's going to pickup the 20V adapter when they come out. I'm thinking about it, I have a drill and a circular saw that are still in good shape. Get the adapter and use the batteries from my new drill and have a great spare for projects when you talk you buddy into coming over to help out.
  24. Take a look around, I think HD has some deals for black friday, might be a chance to save a little coin!
