  1. JC welcome to the forum by the way. I agree with Jeff. There are parent companies that own some lower quality brands. Milwaukee is great quality, top notch in my book.
  2. Nice project! And I second Comps suggestion. Is the whole area your Dock or just the one slip area?
  3. the one where he folded a piece of paper 8 times and it exploded was awesome!
  4. I second that BMack, Bosch has great tools just never jumped on there cordless line.
  5. That's awesome! Wonder if they will have tours. If they do I will be driving up to check it out.
  6. Laborers Local 582. Been in the labor union for 11 yrs now. Today was another day closer to retirement haha.
  7. Came out real nice! Lots of labor involved in that one! KUDOS!
  8. Welcome aboard Robert. Glad to have another like minded guy on the crew!
  9. It was a Craftman cordless drill that I got for Christmas when I was about 14. The few years before that it was all hand tools, most of which I still have along with the tool box. I was bred from a young age to be in construction
  10. So what's the address and should we bring a dish or just booze?! looks delicious man!
  11. So much fun! I'm down for a game right now!
  12. I remember a buddy of mine made a set, it was pretty crude and was stored in the trunk of his car. Looking forward to to seeing the final product
  13. I second Jimbo. I bought the Tektons a while back and they have served me very well. I would have liked a magnetic set but for the money they have been outstanding.
  14. There are so many reasons concrete cracks, wrong mix, rebar placement, mesh placement or lack of mesh, ground movement, control joints not cut/finished in to name a few. From the pictures it looks like your slab does not have any control joints. They don't stop the concrete from cracking but give it a prestressed line to form the crack instead of a random set of cracks like you have. Do you ever have water seeping through?
  15. Welcome aboard Darwin! Glad you could join us.
  16. I just sharpen mine whenever I go to Cabelas. They always have all of he sharpeners on display for you to demo. If your lucky enough you can have the salesman do it, then just tell him your not into spending that much on a sharpener....I'm cheap!
  17. I agree with the guys above, Mortar for the CMU and crack repair on the floor. I am a fan of the epoxy for crack repair. It is not very toolable by nature. I would go over it with a feather finish such as an Ardex CD fine. That way it will be smooth and ready for your floor paint.
  18. Greetings to the new fellas! We are all special here, in our own way.
  19. Thoughts and prayers are with you buddy. Stay strong for your family but not too strong that you cannot heal for yourself. Always remember the good times and the funny, smiles and laughs are the best medicine.
  20. As a fellow Milwaukee and Union man I say WELCOME! I like your local number, I bet you guys have some cool t shirts.
  21. Welcome to the forum, glad you found us!
