Yep, Mitutoyo makes nice stuff.....I have a HF caliper its junk. For me if I need a caliper its more due to accurate measurement needed otherwise I could just use a ruler. I'm taking the Sledge-O-Matic to the HF one

If your looking for something reasonable cost check out the Fowler.....much better than the Empire stuff IMO.

Needed a new digital caliper so I scored one of these.....really tight tolerances and well built.
  5. Wow....what a mess, there lucky to be alive.
  6. Welcome to the forum.....will try our best to help you spend your money on power tools
  7. Holy smokes, that's awesome.....hello table saw ha ha.
  8. I would agree with ealier Ryobi yellow and blue versions, a big let down.....however the latest One + (green) is nothing like the old, if I were to give a manufacture a most improved, it would be Ryobi with its One + line.....
  9. They list 2.4 and 3.0 batteries are included on thier web site.....with the extra batteries there throwing in I'm tempted, weak ha ha.
  10. Dan M.....To get the ball rolling why not try some sort of group buy on a few particular tools....for instance Milwaukee has thier new M18 stand light coming out shortly, a few of us are talking about it in another thread.....maybe form some sort of Forum Catagory and have items listed there as a group buy, anyone in on the group buy would get the discount.....of course there would need to be some sort of window to work within, offer the group buy item for two weeks, once the confirmed list of buyers are gathered within the two week offering we send the money....we get our discount, the retailer is making money and we are happy campers!!....and the retailer participating would know just how much business is coming from this forum....You know when a new tool or accessoy comes out were all over it
  11. I just checked the HD site and its listed for $249 no battery......little steep IMO, never the less its cool, pricey and I like it so I will buy when available http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-TRUEVIEW-LED-Stand-Light-2130-20/206463146?keyword=milwaukee+m18+stand+light
  12. Agree with ChrisK1970 regarding wheel lugs.....get a 1/2" impact, many to choose from. Regarding the combo kit, I would consider the Ryobi, they have a large line and of good quality and fairly priced!. If your not concerned so much with budget and want to start off with better then look at the big four brands, Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt or Bosh. Me personaly I like Milwaukee, between there M12 & M18 lines I have just about everything I would ever need from cordless tools.
  13. Looks like your getting closer to your new table saw
  14. Great deal.....don't need the light but the battery I could always use.
  15. No problem.....let us know what you end up with.
  16. That's great there taking care of you, enjoy!!
  17. When you get ready to buy you may want to check with them to make sure its in stock as it shows no longer available. It looks like they only offer the SE series in 27 and 41 inch versions now. It could be they have a few 33" combo sets hanging around.
  18. Ha ha.....that 72" Homak top box lid could take a bigass Milwaukee sticker, this may look nice on the red Homak box
  19. Thanks Jimbo.....me too, now when my wife bitches at me about leaving the lights on I can tell her its costs next to nothing and we don't have to change them for 50,000 hours LOL!!
  20. I saw that with masterforce top box. Homak top and bottom boxes both have 20 inch deep drawers which I like.....I'm liking the Homak best so far for drawer height, depth and layout. I pretty much have decide against the Milwaukee due to the bottom box layout. Sorry Milwaukee
  21. Was looking at that option as well.....and if it didn't fit length wise I could always have some sort of plywood top for the top boxes to sit on.
