Anyway to cover that insane bill!! I think its the worse thing ever your property is taken then you face extortion at a towing yard to get your own property back. Basically you get your item stolen twice ones illegally and the other legally. On another forum I'm on he wont take anything but cash and you have to have exact change only or they will just keep the extra money your owed. Seriously some towing companies should face some scrutiny.
Towing companies are like dealing with the mob, it's ridiculous.

I had to bite on this for $99. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have a bit holder accessory for the m12 so I had to make my own. My first m12 tools to go with the M18s:

PB Swiss PH2 for $10 shipped Prime, expected to be in stock in a few days: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D2Q3HI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A1R0ZEJUA4V5K5
MSRP is like $12 but most charge at least $8 shipping. Amazon price fluctuates from this seller's $10 to $25.

I have a screwdriver problem:

It wasn't at my store yet either

That reminds me, the Ego 12" weed eater has been marked down at HD at some stores to as low as $35! At my HD last I checked it was $90. If you're interested, go to the computer in the front by customer service, click on the price check app and type in "Ego" and you'll see the price and inventory at that store.

Yea they probably won't work well with my dainty lady sized hands
On the bright side you have more color choices for gloves, everything from black to pink!

That was one of Lowe's black friday items, they don't feel bad quality but those handles are awkwardly large and I have large hands(wear XL gloves).

It's hard to buy Chinese-made pliers when you can get USA-made Channellock pliers for the same price, Tekton USA-made for cheaper. Also a few Taiwan-made pliers for about the same price. I've found Chinese steel to be soft in a lot of cases, good in some cases, Gearwrench comes to mind for good quality Chinese hand tools...though I wish more was still made in Taiwan, it had better finishing.

I know that after Breaking Bad's success they started making blue crystal meth, wonder if Tide is used for the coloring/effects.

I would imagine a simple foregrip style handle would work better. This design looks like it would hurt your wrist.

If I ran for president, I would run on the platform of public executions for murderers, rapists, identity thieves and people that work for the IRS or at the DMV and the Kardashians.

That's a great idea, looks awesome

Fluke items would be nice. Multimeter maybe, hopefully a USA made model. I already have a couple Fluke multimeters but wouldn't mind an 87 V. A handheld oscilloscope would be a dream to have. I'm sure most of us could get some good use from a hook meter.

I've heard some people complain about the pliers strength and flex in the handles...but there are a lot of tool people that complain about anything not Knipex, Snap-on or the like and don't take in account price. I personally think they feel pretty nice, though I do feel the handles flex a little more than I like it probably doesn't effect anything.

Job site theft is a big deal dude. I believe there is a special place in hell for people that take tools, molest children, rape and murder. CL is a huge problem for stolen stuff whereas pawn shops are harder because in some areas like mine positive identification has to be tendered before money changes hand with a seller.
I do know that but at the same time I can't imagine people steal more from job sites as they steal from retail stores. Like Walmart MADE IT PUBLIC for some reason that they would not prosecute any theft under $100 or something like that. Maybe it's that job site theft is ALWAYS reported and retail stores might not catch the loss for a full year and even then they may not report it. I don't know, I'm guessing...I don't really have an "in" with thieves or the guys tracking the thieves. I did start off in Criminology in college but we never really covered theft.

Good to hear they fixed the issue. Also, glad you reached out to them outside of calling the repair company. Our shop does warranty repair work, when we can't get parts customers call us after waiting a week or two and we can't do anything. We can call the company a hundred times but they really don't care about anything we have to say, they care when the customer calls them or brings it to their attention elsewhere.

Thanks for that second pic, I had no idea howTF that was originally a shoe rack, haha. Makes much more sense now!

We get people that steal meat at work all the time, they pack the carts with grocery a and build a spot in the center of the cart using cereal boxes and large times around the sides then throw 100s of dollars of meat in the middle then cover the top up. Then they push the cart to the front of the store right by the sliding entrance doors. Partner walks up grabs the cart and out they go. Few years ago they busted a group that admitted to stealing over $10,000 on meat alone.

Jesus, that's crazy!

Meat? Really?
Also, how do you even steal power tools? Or vacuum cleaners? Those don't exactly fit in your pocket.

Sorry to hear that man...this crap is becoming too common.

Who wouldn't want one of those? It's pretty badass. Mondo is a good guy and peer pressure works on me so consider that a vote
Has Mondo won anything before? I think they want to spread the wins around.

Klein has declined dramatically in the quality department. I am an electrician, I love the design of the Klein linesman and side sitters but they are just not built well anymore. Other than my 11 in 1 screwdriver, I have switched to wera due to Klein's poor quality.

Didn't the quality go down soo bad that they recently (within the past two years) change how they made their screwdrivers?
Edit: No date but here's something about it on their website: http://www.kleintools.com/content/our-secret-sauce-new-improved-screwdriver-steel
What tools did you buy today?

I know I'm about to open a floodgate, I've been browsing m12 tools since I got home, haha.
I just took a bit holder from the m18 accessory and popped it out. Drilled it, filed it to get rid of the burrs. Then screwed it onto the side, simple but effective.
As an alternative, I was thinking of using one of those soft rubber bit holders and screwing that to the side.
