I paid £32 on eBay it came from China in about 2 weeks, it really is a good bit of kit the photo doesn't do the light justice it's very bright for its size Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just bought one of these and thought I would share my thoughts , it's a 160 lumen key chain light and it's awesome ! It has a micro USB for charging it's built in lithium battery and has good run time. 160 lumen = 1 hour 50 lumen = 3 hours 5 lumen = 13 hours It also has red light for night vision and what I think is amazing a UV Light ! It's anodised all aluminium construction is really good it's worth a look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bosch compact Sabre Saws! Reciprocating / Hackzall

I've had the 10.8v one for about 4 years it doesn't get used much but it's not a bad saw if you only have 10.8v kit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Yes but if you wanted to take 1 inch off a full sheet of ply the only way to do it is to lean over the sheet and cut it or use the saw left handed ? I know it's not a big deal though ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Quick question for 887 owners , does the 887 which I've bought take 25mm bits straight in the chuck ? I've seen some videos that look like people are using small bits straight in it and I didn't want to try incase I'm mistaken and they get stuck which I don't think they will as it does eject the bit holder so I'm sure it will pop them out anyway ?

I do subscribe to his channel and I like his reviews but the tools on tap thing I'm not a fan so far it just doesn't seem natural when it's being filmed not like tools in action ! Maybe it will come with time but I feel the tools on tap is only there to compete with tools in action in the humour stakes ?

People seem to be missing one of the most important things when buying a welder the duty cycle , all welders have a duty cycle and what that means is a welder rated at 70% @ 100 amps will operate for 7 minutes use then need 3 minutes to cool down , it's out of 10 minute cycles so a welder rated 100% at 100 amps will run non stop at 100amps setting , also would like to say I use mig welder for light fabrication and stick for my more heavy duty and mobile welding tasks but everyone should learn to stick weld it's a great machine to have

My main platform is bosch 18v I have a lot of it and it's bomb proof also I have bosch 36v sds Metabo 10.8v impact and drill with 5.2 ah batteries which are very good and just recently bought into the dewalt 18v ( 20v max ) with the dcf 887 but my main line is always going to be bosch as I'm heavily invested in that line Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Yes I noticed that and if you look at my photo on this thread of it next to my bosch the lights on the bosch are a nice cool white tint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah Phillips are like a modern day flat head should never have been invented Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Yeah I see in the US you lot use a lot of the Robertson square drive well in the UK they aren't used at all mainly pz2 and ph2 and the odd torx drive which I really like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The dewalt will get plenty of use as it will come into its own on larger screws plus pilot drilling and step drilling so I like to use two impacts at once one for pre drilling and one for screws on certain jobs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah unfortunately for me I'm in the window business and in the UK 80% of the screws are Philips when working with double glazing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
