  1. Yeah I know a few of you lot from America don't like the blade on the right hand side but in Europe that's the way we have them and there is some plus sides to that 1. The crap doesn't go all over you 2. If your right handed you would usually have the stock timber on the left side and the off cut on the right hand side and this means the larger part of the base sits on the stock which is better when you've passed through your cut as the saw stays on the stock and keeps flat. The only down side is you have to rely on the notch at the front of the base to follow the cut line as you struggle to see the blade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. I'm glad you asked that , I have had mainly bosch gsb drills ( hammer drills ) and they are known for having chuck wobble ! My last one wasn't good at all the chuck bobbed up and down and wasn't very nice to drill with so as I just want this new drill for drilling in metal and wood I've gone for the gsr version without hammer as it won't have chuck wobble and it's a tad shorter. 9. The whole Bluetooth thing in batteries doesn't appeal to me in anyway as all I want to know is how much charge my battery has in it and pressing the button on the back is good enough for me I'm not fussed how many cycles it's done or disabling the battery incase someone tries to use it ! What I would like to see is a bit like one key where you could type in the exact torque of an impact driver so if you had to do head bolts up to an exact torque then you could enter say " 50nm" and the impact would be exactly 50nm that would be useful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes and runtime shouldn't be any issue as in most cases one will be charged before the other is flat in the real world , they are better value as they can be used on two platforms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes I agree it doesn't make the 20v line any different but you might consider a few 60v tools for the extra power ! I would buy one of them even though I'm invested in bosch and metabo and I can't use the 60v batteries In my other tools but people with the dewalt 20v can Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes I want to see a test with the circular saw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah I give it a few months and he will be doing a video on the new dewalt stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Lol yeah right after he is selling all his dewalt 20v line as he isn't happy with dewalt ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm looking forward to dan and Eric putting these to the test , would like to see the circular saw being compared to 20v Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. And this is the face of anyone that moved to the red side lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. This is the smug face of dewalt fans Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Your only going on some leaked info so you might find out soon that there will be a brushless recip in 20v Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I agree with you change like this is good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes that's exactly how I look at it , any people throwing their dolls out the pram thinking the 20v line will be extinct is rubbish as look at the xrp range ! Plus they wouldn't make this battery compatible with the 20v line up as the effort made to make it switch voltages wouldn't be worth it ? Also this is a great move from dewalt as people that have other brands like me will now buy certain dewalt 60v kits for the extra power like the circular saw ! I have all metabo and bosch not one dewalt tool but now I might just buy a 60v set to add to the collection Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You've only made the right choice in your head because Milwaukee hasn't released the 60v tools but all dewalt has done is give you the option of buying 60v tools for the power and use 20v for the steady tools that don't need that much power like the impact and drill ! Just cos they have released these doesn't make the 20v any different to what they are today , but if you fancy a more powerful saw then the 60v will fit the bill and them options are good ! 22. Yes I think that's what Dave was getting at ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It's a viscous cycle as when you move to one manufacturer another comes out with better stuff I have just learnt to buy a few different brands rather then all of one brand Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
