    Typical

    Big mistake tut tut !
  2. I had an idea once about one day it would be good if your cordless tools some how was powered by some sort or wifi or something so you would just plug something into the nearest socket and it uses like a wifi to send the power to the tool ? Maybe one day lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. i do like the look of this metabo I like the fact the legs are on the saw rather then spend money on separate stand Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah it was the first thing I looked at and the fence isn't rack and pinion but it's a good locking fence at both ends and moves quicker then the dewalt and slides very nice , the saw looks to have some great features
  5. Yeah metabo is big here in Europe and I have a fair bit of there kit along with bosch , the dewalt saw does have a solid reputation by the looks of things but can you tell me if they modified the dws745 at any stage as I've seen one advert saying they are 1700w and another saying 1800w ?
  6. Yeah your right I'm just torn between about 4 different table saws I'm looking at one I can use as a site saw and I can't decide if I go for this one as its a very good price or spend another £200 and get the dewalt dws745 with the rolling stand or the metabo TS 254 which looks amazing as it has the legs already attached and some good features as well as being 2000w and then there's the bosch gts 10j so I'm not sure ! Would like to know what you lot think ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Does anyone own this table saw or may have used it ? The reason i ask is because it's under £300 and I have the metabo mitre saw that has the same blades 216mm x 30 bore and I'm looking at getting a compact table saw and this looks good plus I have a few Freud blades that I use in the mitre saw that will fit this my only concern is it's only 1500w when the dewalt and bosch are 1800w so I wondered how it copes ? 8. It wasn't about the look of the battery more about the fact the grips are fat , I think you will find the new battery platforms won't change every 5 years from now on
  9. Does no one here think ryobi really messed up with having stick batteries and not slide on ? Very dated and means all the drill and impact grips will always be on the fat side ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. But the U.S. Dollar isn't as strong as the UK pound ( sterling) so it can't be that ?
  11. It's because here in the UK 240v can't be used on construction sites for health and safety reasons so that's why all tools in the UK can be bought in both 240v and 110v as home owners will just buy 240v
  12. I'm in the UK and it's available in both 240 and 110
  13. You can get this in 110v in the UK then just change the plug maybe ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have this saw and it's great with the 48 tooth Freud blade in it ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah I did notice it doesn't have the vibration control which my 36v does ! The 18v looks like it packs a punch
  16. Anyone ?? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hi all just want some feedback on the bosch 18v sds , I have the Bosch 36v compact sds which is great but I don't have the brushless one and mine is knocking on a bit and I'm thinking of selling it on eBay and getting the 18v brushless one as a bare tool the reason being is I have lots of 4ah batteries and the tool is smaller and lighter and has great reviews but also the 18v has the chisel function which would be very handy ! Another plus is I can get around £230 for my 36v and the bare tool 18v with l boxx is around £200 and I can register the tool for the 3 year warranty which my 36v is about 6 years old ! All I want to know is has anyone on here used both drills because they are very close on spec but I want to here from someone that has owned or used both drills and what is there opinion ? This drill will mainly be used for fitting upvc doors and windows which I use a 6 mm hilti bit and drill holes about 100mm deep and sometimes the metal reinforcing takes some getting through and wondered if the 18v is going to be up to the job? Anyway hope to hear some feedback and I've added photos of both the drills but mine isn't the brushless 36v
  18. I think mafell is made by metabo as their 10.8v drill is the same as the metabo bs quick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. If you see them let us all know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The bloke is a bit to much at times but check out his video on the underground bunker that's pretty cool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Jimbo I use my impact for drilling all the time , I even use one of the bosch multi construction bits for drilling brick and stone when I'm using plugs ! I've built up a good collection of hex shank drill bits Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
