Compared to your older impact is this new one a different beast ? Cos when I upgraded my 18v impact to the brushless 18v it was loads better even though the stats don't show a big difference it just works faster and better that's why I wondered if this one is the same ? To be fair there all really good I'm a bosch man and have there 18v line but dewalt makita Milwaukee and all the others are great just look at which range is easily available in your area Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

he thing is weight isn't a factor as the laser just sits on a tri pod or it is clamped or uses the magnet so the added weight of a 20v slim pack won't affect anything , I think maybe dewalt might be releasing more 12v tools in the next year or two !Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Like I said at the start putting batteries aside just going on motors only is there a difference in cold weather between a brushed motor and brushless as I am finding my brushless seems to work as normal whatever the weather but brushed seems to be little slower in the cold but have any of you lot noticed this ? Does anyone know if brushless motors work any better then brushed motors in the cold ? I'm asking as my brushless impact doesn't seem and different when it's really cold but my older brushed impact used to seem slower ! Now before you say it I know the main problem is the battery in the cold but putting that aside what do you lot think has anyone noticed there new brushless impacts not being affected as much as there older brushed ones ? Why is it the Dewalt chargers aren't fast charging ? The normal charger is only 4 amp which is twice as slow as my bosch gal3680 charger ? Does dewalt do a fast charger or are they all 4 amp? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
