  1. Hi I'm Craig I've been lurking about the forum the last few months but not introduced myself ! I'm in the UK and I fit double glazing for a living but also do a lot of woodworking , by trade I'm a welder but only do bits for myself now. Tool wise I am addicted to good kit like you lot seem to be , I have mainly bosch 18v and 10.8v but also metabo as I have their 10.8v impact and drill plus mitre saw . Anyway want to say hello and I've enjoyed watching TIA over the years and this forum is fantastic ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. My dad has a saying and that's " do someone a favour and it usually comes back and bites you on the arse " !! I don't lend kit out as it never benefits me in any way and usually the people that want to borrow tools can never return the favour ? It's a bit like mates that you do odd jobs for to help them out most of them aren't able to repay the favour as most have got office jobs so the best they can do is give you a pencil sharpener or something ! 14. for that price get them then get the ones in February Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. That's cheaper direct then ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. im on about in the UK as a bare hilti impact is £225 which is about $400 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes lithium batteries are larger capacity now and deliver more power charge faster and can be charged at any time as you don't need to run them flat before charging them like the old nicads ! As well they are lighter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. yes I agree I would love the hilti 22v impact but when it's 3 x the price of a bosch of dewalt then I can't justify it but I know it's a great tool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I used to use mostly hilti when I worked for a company on site and they supplied the kit and hilti is some of the best industrial kit you can buy ! The diamond core drills are the best and there sds drills and concrete breakers have one of or if not the best hammer action there is !! If I could afford it I would buy hilti and there sds cx drill bits are the best by far there's no comparison Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Would be great if I was rich enough to have that under a workshop for storage and extra space ? How much do you think that would have cost in materials ? Concrete would have been the most ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
