  1. I made a video, thought I'd give the vlog style a shot, incorporate a few tools into the mix as well, any critiques, feel free to share... I want to expand on this, give an insight into what this trade involves and include the tools of the trades as well... We'll see where this takes me... .
  2. I haven't even remembered to take an actual photo of this, just a screenshot from a quick video. I bought this from KCTOOL! This style is popular is Europe so i wanted to give it a try, I like it better than the standard pipe wrench ..
  3. That sucks dude, I'm bummed to hear that, I've had no problem with mine .. .. .
  4. The torpedo level with graduate marks, deburr, chamfer, magnetic, and a little nub off the top for digging in the dirt. It was trying to be too many things and failed at every one of them. The bubble would stick in one side until you raised it the opposite way enough, then it went to the other side and you had to bring it back slowly... I have the M12 vac too and don't use it anymore. I keep the M12 hackzall in my daily box for cutting small PVC or cpvc fittings or small bolts etc. But the worst was that level
  5. Yeah what is it? It got left for a reason haha... I know in my kitchen, they put tile over at least one layer of vinyl/linoleum. Surprise! It has cracks everywhere.
  6. I put random lengths of white pipe together with Elmer's glue to make your poop go out of your house when u flush the toilet
  7. Furniture making, cool, welcome aboard!
  8. I've seen Fujitsu around too, but have no experience.
  9. At first, maybe, but they always seem to price them ridiculous, then come down on the price as a "special" or promo and it becomes much more viable to more people
  10. Besides the Mitsubishi? Sorry, haven't used anything else, we like them too well
  11. Yeah I'm more interesting in the smaller modular cases and bags than anything. I really liked the auger bits they used with the impact wrench, if it's making that much cleaner of a hole, that pretty cool. I suspect it's a rebrand however.
  12. I think it should be required to have an access cover to get to those fuel pumps. On my 1998 Jetta and a buddy's 2001 Jetta, there's an access plate like someone was actually thinking about the future maintenance on their vehicles. Because pulling a tank is a pia compared to the access cover!
  13. Trust me, that did not go unnoticed by many, myself included. I played devil's advocate with every new tool they showed there, and took that comparison for a grain of salt. I thought a little less of them for doing that honestly, that's not a fair comparison and we know that.
  14. Yes one big thing I look at for cordless vs corded is how big of an area will I usually operate in. For many things, it needs to be stationary and corded is fine. For many other things, I need to be mobile, different rooms, up and down ladders etc and cords would make me pull my hair out. One thing I got recently was a metal cutting circ saw the Skilsaw OUTLAW.... While I originally was drooling over a fuel metal saw, I quickly found I simply needed to keep the saw at my cutting station by my work van and keep it plugged in. I haven't needed to move around with this saw, so it became a non issue. If I'm cutting wood for blocking, I want cordless because I can use my light m12 saw and can cut the wood close by my work inside. You can hold the wood with one hand while you're cutting it, but I don't care to play with fate like that while cutting metal!
  15. I have a systainer, and that isn't going anywhere near a house during rough in stage, but that's not what it's meant for. Neither is this packout meant for finish work. My Ridgid boxes are great for rough in stage but would be cumbersome in the finish stage. They are apples and oranges, aimed at totally different applications. I really like having the ability to pop a organizer on the bottom of a bag and take that in with me for service, or remove it if I only need to bring my tools. I'm not aware of any other system like that. The ability to then take that organizer (half width at that) and stack on my other boxes is awesome. For example... If I'm rebuilding a faucet, take in my tool bag with the organizer(rebuild pieces) and I have everything. If I'm installing a faucet, I would bring in my bag on a larger box (with supplies) and leave the organizer behind. Pick and choose and mix and match, full width or multiple half width. I have the DeWalt cart with the arms to hold the boxes, and that cart is very wide, it's ridiculous. The only advantage is not pulling the boxes off the top of the one you want to get at, but I don't like them enough over all. Honestly I can see myself just getting the organizers, and not the tool boxes, but I really want to see them in person somewhere. Did you hear also, they have a ton of new boxes coming, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
  16. You know how they do, drop the price drastically and throw in a free this or that haha What I'm looking forward to is the M12 stapler
  17. Keep forgetting to take a picture of mine, but i bought this recently from the giveaway on IG awhile back: it's 21" long to help give you perspective, it's a whole new type of wrench for me and i can see why it's popular in Europe. ..https://www.kctoolco.com/wiha-32972-2-6-s-jaw-pipe-wrench/ .. I like it better than a standard pipe wrench for many reasons!
  18. No m12 surge, the hydraulic driver assembly requires a larger size to get decent torque out of it, and it would defeat the purpose of putting a larger head on a m12 impact, so they only have it on the m18
  19. I forgot to post the special from ToolBarn yesterday, and Tuesday they were out of stock in an hour anyways haha but here's today's special, this runs until midnight central time: .. Then when you enter that code:: see pic below:
  20. HAHAHA this is great, just catching up on stuff LOL
