  2. i use my right angle drill with a 6.0ah pack on it, a world of difference. use it on the right angle impact as well, it wakes them up
  3. .. Going to see if i can get the lenox to compare with these two blades
  4. Looks good there, i was working on making some end grain cutting boards but got way sidetracked with quite a few things here and there and have forgot about it. I want to pick it back up in the winter..
  5. .. That was amazing. Thank you Tony!! Thank you Texas!

  8. Good stuff guys. Hear what you're saying about the framing crews undercutting. We deal with the Amish coming in a putting up houses for builders in the area. Just wednesday, I was doing some finish plumbing work on a brand new house in a brand new small development, and next door, was an amish crew putting up walls on a fresh site. I hate to talk bad about them but we've done plumbing at multiple sites where the amish were "fired" from the site because of incompetency.. It was painful to see them struggle to read the blueprints... No backing behind hand grab bars in the bathroom... Drywall had to come off and bracing put in place. They had shingles FACE NAILED at the eaves because I don't know, they couldn't figure out how to stop wind from flipping them up?? I can get along with anyone willing to admit a lack of knowledge in an area, but when you just guess at the work as you go without accepting responsibility, my respect goes out the door with them... Anyways, I too have mixed color work environment HAHAH it sucks having multiple chargers and batteries... I would love to use MIlwaukee's propress gun, but we bought a bunch of Ridgid guns for a deal and i have several Ryobi items for good price and just recently, the Makita drywall saw. Should be interesting!! I could have used that saw Wednesday!!
  9. .. Drinking the teal koolaid lol And here's this guy: .
  10. Thanks guys, yeah Brian, I like driving, and have done several trips with 5+ hours straight driving but I'll be making plenty of stops to keep the aging limbs moving lol I take off July 9th
  11. @Framer joe running two crews and still contributing to this forum..? ..
  12. My mind is like a steel trap myself, I hold onto memories but getting them back out again is a bear lol
  13. Yeah they included a lot of tools in this, but also not a lot, kinda more aimed at home items.. But there's a lot of Makita in that list
  14. Yep, same with all the higher capacity batteries.. quite a bit more potential energy, just use common sense... If the battery is on the tool, extremely slim chance something can make contact with the terminals... Just like plugging in a corded tool, highly unlikely something will get into the receptacle, but it's still a possibility
  15. I keep my tools organised in the Milwaukee app, been inputting my tools on here for over a year now. But I think yours is even more in-depth with how you can list by certain parameters ? Because I'm not that tech-savvy, I just use what's available.... I still have a few tools to input yet that I've forgotten about over the last 6 months probably .. .. .
  16. July 9th i'll be heading out, take two days to travel there, allow three days for the work, and hopefully meet up with @tonylandin which would be awesome! Hey Tony, i'll do anything in my capacity to make a BBQ work at your place! You name it, i'll bring it! I've actually done this type of work before for government contracts, it's fun, a different experience, and an adventure.. Not too nice leaving the family behind, though. Modern communication makes it less stressful though! Probably the route I'm taking, should be a little adventure https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IfNC1u9tdVO6KGAWk-FBhuh2SnU&usp=sharing .. Installing Mitsubishi Mini Split system. Two heads, one inverter, nothing too exciting
  17. Tuesday: Ex-horse stall into a bathroom and laundry. All to code, if anyone was wondering. inspected and passed no problem .. Wednesday: Another underground plumbing install, missed getting the finished pic, a brand new house we'll be doing the plumbing and HVAC at. Concrete guys sets their forms ALMOST in the way, but i had spray painted a location we need to be so they stayed to the right of our work. I didn't understand why the builder wanted us to do the underground before the foundation walls were up, but as long as they don't hit our pipes, should be ok .. .. Thurdsay: these guys sent me a Pick Up stix to try out: so so much easier moving a toilet around, with or without the tank on the bowl http://www.pickupstix.ca/ .
  18. So awesome catching up on what you're up to, the old stuff was meant to last, and here's proof, so cool! I still have my old Delta scroll saw on my list, that thing is not going anywhere, can't get stuff that incredible anymore!
  19. Ok this was what I was thinking, that's a killer deal dude! But not available anymore
  20. $49 for this https://www.lowes.com/pd/Skil-Router-Bit-Set/1059235 .. I forget if it got posted already, though, sorry if it's a repeat. I think Jimbo mentioned about a bigger kit for a good price awhile back, don't think it's available anymore..? ..
  21. Superb drivers, i don't have the laser tips yet, but i have the kraftform kompakt and it's awesome, but my daily is the ratcheting Rolgear driver. They make a ratcheting but i'm spoiled by my rolgear, but if you're into fixed shafts, Wera all day long!!
  22. Bend in the pipe is called the trap Only ever had one instance in the last 8 years of doing this work where Drano worked for a customer. I arrived at the house, having been given instructions that the kitchen sink backs up, but I couldn't recreate the problem, no problems draining whatsoever. I called the homeowner at their work to which they confessed using Drano in a desperate attempt to make it drain better. Only case I can recall it actually worked. If your drains are cast iron, you're Screwed!! No amounts of Drano will help, get an auger down the drain if possible and hope it breaks enough rusty chunks off the inside of the pipe to allow better drainage. Even then, there's no happy ending for cast, eventually it splits or cracks through and little bubbles of rust form and it starts dripping anyway.
