Sounds like a makita still runnin strong well normaly you dont take the switch apart there will either be a screw for each wire or one where u press something in to get it out and to do a new one u push it in and it locks could u post a picture of the switch and also the drill would love to see it

Made this drill bit holder for my misc bit with some tube and a piece of c channel and 7024 . The piece on the bottom is the c channel used as a stand ?? thanks for stopping by took about a hour

Just finished up cleaning this dewalt 4 1/2 paddle switch model num d28402n made in 2013 . Torn it apart cleaned it replaced the cord and regreased it and turned it on it had more power than before . I think because it had a pretty bad cut in the cord took about 2 hours and 30 mins . Enjoy the pictures
