I am in Australia so naturally I use Meters and Millimeters all the time, but my dad (who is Australian) prefers everything in Feet and Inches so when I am talking to him about the size of something I have to keep doing mental conversions all of the time.

I know this is not much but I picked up some Makita planer blades for my 20 year old Bosch planer.

We have the brushless impact so it probably is a fair trade off.

I try to stay away from used tools but I was given a Hitachi TR 12 plunge router from one of my neighbors about a year ago and it is brilliant, though, he said it was hardly ever used and he seems like the bloke who takes care of his tools. It came with some things that were still in the original packaging. I think if you know the person and it looks in pristine condition I would but used tools otherwise it would stay very far away from them.

Born In Melbourne Australia. Moved to the Central Coast (1 hour north of Sydney) about 13 years ago.

Anyone know the real torque ratings for this impact? I was looking on Ryobi's website (in Australia) and it says the torque ratings are 50/100/270 Nm (443/885/2400 in-lbs).
