  1. No one? Well I really thought someone with a brushed kit would be all over this. the fit is absolutely perfect tighter and better than my fuel kit is right now. Here is a video of it:
  2. I started a thread in regards to what tools will fit in the Fuel hard case. This is a Brand New Fuel hard case for a driver & drill combo. I modified it to fit the Brushed combo kit: 2656-20 impact driver & 2606-20 drill (the most common/popular kit). The fit is 100% PERFECT. I paid $35 for the case shipped plus about 4 hours or so of work. Please let me know if you need more pictures... I am looking for $40
  3. Thanks again to everyone here. Pushed me towards the Fuel. I was gonna return the brushed kit I got and pay $400. But when I scored for $300... Priceless;)
  4. I picked up a M18 fuel driver/drill combo and took off the belt clip and extra bit holder. These will fit all M18 drivers and drills. Brand New and never used. If you do not have a Fuel set, you drill did not come with the belt clip and neither your driver or drill came with the bit holder! -- Looking for $8 each. Belt Clip + Screw: Bit Holder:
  5. Haha yea baby! The 4 settings that u change with the button on the driver make it all worth it hahha. Oh did I forget to mention that I paid $300!!!!!! -- with free flashlight
  6. So I returned the regular brushed driver/drill kit I got 2 weeks back and got this!
  7. So I am not sure if there is a thread for deals. But I saw this and wanted to share. If there is a better place someone please link and repost. Brushless kit for $249 at Home Depot till Thursday. See pic below
  8. here is the link to the one i was talking about. its the same as the one i have, just brushless and a bigger battery. I just am not sure if i honestly need brushless or not. and it not, wether the battery is only 50 more or not, its a waste of $50...
  9. The prob is that the battery that the brushless kit comes with is $100 bucks. its gonna cost me more then $50 to get a battery
  10. So i was just a Home depot. The kit i got is 200 and the brushless kit is $250... not sure if i just keep the brushed kit or return the one i have now and pay an extra $50 to get the Brushless kit.
  11. would be easy. nice heat gun and raror blade.
  12. So could not sleep and did some work on the case. Fits better than a glove now. Video:
  13. Ok so I got the hard case today & ...Fail. Does not fit. Dispite Milwaukee rep and via phone saying it would as well as a few people on Instagram that say it would. So apparently brushed, brushless, fuel, etc are all dif sizes. See attached pics. I am gonna first try and heat gun it then dremmel hahahha
  14. Notice: does anyone on here have any interest in me compiling a list of specs & pictures of all the different hard cases for regular, brushless, fuel, individual, etc. and what tools will fit in each case? Does anybody else here buy tool only or ones that come w/ the crappy bags and want to put them in different hard cases... let me know, my friends shop has Milwaukee and they let me go in and try all the cases and all the different tools.
  15. It will be here on 4/20. I am now worried it won't fit after I just noticed that the 2897-22 kit comes with a hammer drill and mine is not. The hammer drill is something like 1/4" longer. I will see tomorrow.. i dont know if anyone else on here has any interest at all about different tools fitting in different hard cases.. because I hate the soft bags. I noticed over the last four days that it is virtually impossible to find any info at all about tools fitting in cases and also quite impossible to find out what the different cases inside look like. The hard case for the fuel drill/driver kit actually comes in over 9 dif case molds.
  16. so in regards to this CT and XC. does it just have to do the the battery itself. or are the actual tool smaller or compact. and can you use any bat's you wanton then all
  17. hmmm. so its sounds like i have a lot more research to do now. I have 14 days to return it or exchange.. guess my main things are do i need a hammer drill or just regular, am i fine with the brushed ones i have now or go to brushless, fuel is gonna be too much $ for me right now so thats prob out. and what batteries do i want to run on them....
  18. So when i click that link the first option is the 299 xc kit but the 3rd is another 299 kit but only the drill has an xc bat. im confused b/c the driver in the pics is dif. the xc one has bolts holding on the metal front and then one w/o the xc bac (3rd option) looks dif. Do we think that they pics are wrong on the HD and Milwaukee site or is the one that is paired with a xc bat a special edition?
  19. sorry for all the posts after we figure out, i will clean up and consolidate everything.... so here is another example. same exact kit on HD and Milwaukee sites, only dif based on what comes with it and part numbers is that one has a normal drill and one has a hammer. but.. look at pics the driver is complete dirrerent (shape, clip, the metal housing bolted on, etc). but again, they are both 2656-20 drivers?
  20. 2602-20 2606-20 2607-20 and 2 others seem to all look the same and be mixed in and changed about all dif kits at HD. I wonder if the kits that everyone thinks change price al the time are not actually the same kits. maybe the kit thats 200, then 169, then 219 that we all think is the same is actually dif tools in the kit each week at HD? Edit: looks to be so. You dont even see these when your on the site browsing. You physically need to manually type in each one. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2606-20 https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2607-20 https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2602-20 and there are a lot more. just read that HD swaps each week but never changes display or add so you would never know till u buy it hahah
  21. and another is if you get the drill in the $150 kit its 450 torque. If you buy it just tool only its a dif part number but its 500 torque. I heard a rep a Home Depot say heard about this and a rumor that the "same" milwaukee tool you buy at Home depot vs direct can be off by 1 model # and be different guts inside.... and its seeming to be a trend. buy tool only its 1 model # up or down and more powerful than any tool in the kits at HD.. true?
  22. so there is either a ton of typos on the sight ...or there are 3 dif regular drivers, 2-3 brushless, and 3 fuel drivers. and were talking the sticker on the actual tool, not what the package is called. and your getting dif rpm's, torgue, etc
  23. from what i was able to gather both the drills are the same, but it seems the drivers are different. the one for $250 is a "CT" which i cant find on the Milwaukee site. just confused since you cant compair the driver and drill b/c the $250 ones does not give you the part numbers. I also just came across some other odd things (and its not just with the drivers).. For example if you buy a normal Milwaukee driver tool only (normal= brushed & Not fuel) and you buy a kit with that same driver they should be the same. -- so if you have 3 drivers in front of you... 1 tool only, one that comes with battery, one that came in a kit; they all will have the same number on the sticker on the actual tool. so "normal" being 2656-20 ----- but if you compare the 2 links below you notice that if you just buy the tool w/o the drill it has 1500 torque and not 1400 like all the others. and this is the case with a lot of tools. 1400 torque = https://tinyurl.com/j8ylb8y 1500 torque = https://tinyurl.com/zoaxcbz
  24. Ok so after looking into this more i am super confused by the packages at Home Depot! I noticed that the price for the drill & driver combo kits changes almost daily! Last week alone the one i got went from $199 to $169 to $249....what. And i was just looking on the site and some other threads and started noticing a lot of dif things. This is the normal package - Model # 2691-22 - Home Depot link: https://tinyurl.com/j8ylb8y - This used to come with a free flashlight, but now its only when you buy online and not in store... The is the kit i got 2 days ago, the day after it does not come with the free $50 flash light! - Driver: 2656-20 - Drill: 2606-20 Then i noticed this one (notice the belt clip on the driver is different & its $60 more) - Model # 2697-22CT - Home Depot link: https://tinyurl.com/zfbd22x - Driver: does not tell you... - Drill: does not tell you... ....and there were a few more I will post when i find them. Can anyone help?
