    yea man ...I have heard this from so many people recently as well as my friend who is a Milwaukee rep! its a shame. Give it 6-8 months and then i am sure will be a black and white difference. Gen 2 is still the best out there.

    GREAT video guys!! I was literally gonna get one soon but i will def wait. My New gen 2 is the man! haha. your videos are the best out there, no bullshit presentations. and @wildroamer I agree i think it should go back monday morning. its too new and falls way too short of where i think it should be, esp for a $500 drill/driver combo set!! wait 6-8 months when the new ones is out with 10x better features.

    Ok great. I got confused with all the dif drill revisions... So if person A got my kit 8 months ago and person B got the same kit today they around look 100% identical, but would be a lot dif internally. The big thing is that the digital boards have changed 4 times inside the drill of the gen 2 fuel drills.

    Either I got super hooked up or the wrong drill was put in the kit. I'll post detailed pictures tomorrow from the day I got. Looks like I scored and it was another 1 of them 1 day HD sales.

    what is even weirder is the face that i cant find a milwaukee driver drill combo that comes with the 2704-20 drill and 2753-20 impact driver.... did i get lucky! did they place the wrong drill in my kit? hahahah I got it 4 weeks back new and sealed. My kit is the 2897-22 kit.... it says it comes with the less powerful drill, not the one i have?

    im so stupid. I just noticed that the model drill that came with my Fuel kit is the 2704-20 hammer drill. It looks like this is the most powerful drill they make right now. Looks like i got lucky and got the 2704-20 drill with my kit and not the 2604-20 like most ppl have. The torque is 1,200 on mine and its 725... I knew my drill fell 10X stronger then the other fuel drills i have used!

    I need your help guys help/thoughts. I am working on my workshop right now installing electrical and a bunch of other things. I need a 90° adapter for my Milwaukee drill & driver (fuel). It seems like there's two good ones out there...? The Dewalt or Milwaukee... which one to get? The Milwaukee one is metal & the Dewalt one is plastic, but I've heard a lot of good things about the Dewalt one in the past. what do you think I should get and why?? I need to get tomorrow or next day.

    I got the six-inch Milwaukee extender for my impact driver today then went back over to Lowe's. if you noticed I posted yesterday about some pretty good deals I got at Lowe's ... I just wanted to say how amazing this 3/4" "IRWIN Max Speed" speedbor is! Got 2 more today. I have the Milwaukee set as well a very expensive set. this thing literally blows them out of the water. I thought my Milwaukee set was good until I got these. I literally still can't understand how they are so good and so fast for seven dollars. I am going to pick up some 2 x 4's and 4 x 4's tomorrow after work and do a video I think. this thing literally drove through a 2 x 4 in what seemed like half the time. who knows if the hold up in the long run though.     the 6.0 and 9.0 batteries were supposed to be out in stores January 2016 from what i have read and the video's ....wtf is going on?

    So for the drill it looks like they have made 4 updated to the drill since it was released (even thou all our drills have the same part # on them). But for the impact driver, it looks like there is only one. Attached is the one for the impact driver. It seems that if you have a Gen 2 one, your inside is sealed.

    Yea this was exactly what i was talking about. It looks like there are 4 dif variations of the drill alone. so even thou you and i may both have a gen 2 Milwaukee drill, mine could have a better electronics board or dif shaped parts inside then yours right? Which is what i am worried about. Since i am still in the 90 day return policy, if my drill and driver are not the newest variations shouldn't I try to get the newer ones?

    I hate Lowe's but thought I would stop by because I was bored. lol. I am sure glad that I did, I got a ton of crazy deals ...so much on clearance at the store. I got about 10 items. I got this step bit for $3.38!! - down from $19. and paid $7.89 for this wrench.

    I was wondering if there is any way to see what "version" of a tool you have based on the serial #. I have a M18 fuel drill/driver combo kit (the 2897-22) and purchased it about 2 months ago now. I think this kit has been out for over a year now. I was reading on another forum they have made new versions/variations since my kit was first released. for example i was told the newer ones have all the electronics inside sealed in silicone. ...are the drill & driver exactly the same inside. if you were to get it today vs if you got it the day it was released? or are there dif versions/builds out there even thou the model # is the same.

    If anyone is still interested in this... it looks like these cases should be hitting the US in a few weeks. From what i have read and been told, it looks like if you wait a few weeks, your Milwaukee tools will come with a much cooler case haha.

    Just wanted to share that I just had success using a printed out 20% off harbor freight coupon at Home Depot on this small item, it took about $2 off.

    Yea i have looked at them a few times... always seen to be hard to close. I may grab one thou. I really with that milwaukee sold their rec shockwave cases empty! I may look on amazon or ebay and try to pick some up
