  1. How do I block users here? You sunova..... Ha! Their dc's are certainly nice, but I very recently bought a dewalt dc that will do the trick for my usages, I think. The rep did demo the usefulness of the variable speed on their unit with the Pro 5. Definitely made a huge difference dialing it down. The larger Dewalt has this feature also, but I opted for the smaller one : ( The more I see of that TS55REQ, well, you know...
  2. Too funny, was thinking the same thing!
  3. Well, got to handle and drool over some awesome green tools! Tried out the new Pro5 sander that we are all, apparently, getting. Very nice, light, obviously quality! The thing really cranks on 6. Also looked hard at the TS55REQ. I think it will be mine. Looked at the TS75 also, was surprised at how much bigger it is. Tried to avert my eyes from much there, could easily see myself enjoying their dust extractor, HK55 circ saw, jigsaw, router......... Yikes...... Anyway, picked up a little free swag.
  4. Uh oh.... Just looked at this thread for the first time just now. Since I ordered that sander deal, figured, wtf I'll click the link. Wouldn't you know, they are 5 minutes away from me! TODAY!!!!
  5. Does Festools typically offer sales on BF, or CM? Other times?
  6. Hmmmm, maybe the TS55REQ! Maybe they'll have a black Friday sale?
  7. Ok, now for the $64,000 question. What are you all going to put the $20 toward? I have no clue...
  8. I see what they did. Like the heroin dealer who gives out free samples... He knows you'll be back!
  9. Well, I doubt I'd be kicking myself for buying it, but could definitely see myself doing so if I miss out. Near as I can tell it was selling for around $250 at one point. Any guesses as to whether I purchased or not? hehehehe...
  10. Absolutely impressed! However, last one I had was the earlier 18v Dewalt version, so not much of a comparison. Have not tried Milwaukee. Really like the feel of this, and it absolutely chomped through this 3-ply beam constructed of wet 2x10 pt.
  11. That does look like a sweet deal... Anyone have thoughts on this compared to the ROS I already have? I have the Bosch ROS20VSK.
  12. Could. Wait. No. Longer... Projects wait for no man... The Beast is in Da HOWSE! Yes, that nail was cut in half... Lengthwise...
  13. Looks like a nice tool. Not sure why the "ignore" stuff needs to be there...
  14. Low and behold, local Home Depot just put up a big FlexVolt display! My next post will be in the "What tools did you buy today" thread...
  15. If I hadn't already ordered with the free tool deal, I'd be all over that! Good luck with the sale!
  16. One Key was such a pain in my ass that I got rid of the Fuel tools, and went with another brand. Others jave had better luck. One thing I don't like, is that on some tools One Key is the only way to make certain adjustments. I'd skip it...
  17. Hmmm, I must have posted the wrong link then, @KnarlyCarl, because this came off a 2706-20 M18 FUEL Drill Hammer Drill Driver.
  18. Hey guys, Somehow I ended up with one of these Milwaukee M18 side handles. If anyone wants it, let me know. http://www.greatlakespowertools.com/Milwaukee-42-62-0525-Side-Handle-Assembly-p/42-62-0525.htm?gclid=Cj0KEQjw1v66BRCV-6rh6s-Biu8BEiQAelpui6Hd3vFV35aZTCze0N34AHgu_QVPqq9FIR4lCoDHsmYaAhyR8P8HAQ
