I'm very sorry to hear that, Steven. There is a definite bright side to the coming together that occurs around a loss. I can tell you have a great family, and your Dad was obviously a great man!
I know what you mean. That was my dilemma exactly. Ultimately I just don't like a snug jacket, and want to be able to wear a little bulk underneath occasionally.
Fortunately not insurmountable. So far I've bought the little angle grinder, circ saw with track, and the rotary tool. Impressed with all of them!
Good to hear Chris! Though I'm going to stay out of the thickets as much as possible, haha.
Yeppers, couldn't resist! Very impressive looking jacket, and feels like it will be fairly durable.
Good to hear, I'll do a test, and then plan on disconnecting it when not in use.
My email said late 2016. No longer have the impact wrenches, so no backing out for me. Oh well. Frankly, the 10% refund is pretty nice, considering this appears to be purely Dewalt 's fuck up.
My ROS wasn't cutting it trying to even out this beam...
Also picked up a bit set, hope to make some cabinet doors for the kitchen this fall or winter.
I'm not sure I agree that posting positive reviews of tools should equate to more lenient consideration of warranty issues. Seems like a slippery slope to me, and further makes me much less inclined to give much weight to the "review" when something is expected in return.
JMHO.
