in regards to the red link the battery and tool have chips in them, thats where they "communicate" pre say, i want to say Makita has all the electronics in the tool, dewalt may have them all in the battery, not sure how ridgid is set up but wouldn't surprise me if its similar to Milwaukee, same blood lines just the orange step child

Almost zero electronics in a 20v DeWalt battery, there are only the fuel gauge and a temp sensor.  Ridgid/Ryobi batteries have lots-o-tronics and while clearly different form factors of their boards the electo components are identical.

Looks like you're going to swallow that little entrance doorway, but i'm assuming it's going to stay because the electrical is coming in there?

lol, yeah thats gotta stay, odd ball local lake front codes prevent "new" construction on this lake so to get around it there has to be a certain amount of existing structure, had to goto the zoning board more than a few times over it, but thats not my problem lol.  The electrical is "temp" not exactly sure where its going to end up but sure looks permanent, it actually was moved there recently.

    Hitachi.

    Just saying.

The C10FSH is very nice for a more budget friendly saw. I can make it produce cuts as well as some of the nicer ones available, the only difference is it lacking features.. That being said, I would love to try some others, but this one has been the perfect saw for my use, with the right blade though... i would really like to try a CMT blade and get even nicer cuts from it

Let's not confuse Hitachi as budget friendly for being cheap, IMO they are of the highest cut and build quality of saws twice the price and easily besting saws from DeWalt, Bosch and alike.  Pair a Hitachi with a good blade and you can't go wrong.

  5.  I've shot dozens of Brad nailers and I litteraly feel there is no difference in a $20 vs $120 gun in how they shoot(quantity of tool is another story), I can't speak about that Festool nailer but it better shoot a bull's-eye across the room for a $200 Brad gun!

  6. I'm not so sure these are mearlly BT versions of the existing line, note the bases all appear to have push button controls, a very prominent XR on the bodies and to me the impact head looks slightly... Different, bigger?, can't quite put my finger on it.  Also that's a BT 6ah battery that the premium drill is perched on.
