They put a ban on any new outdoor wood burning furnace. But that's because people are idiots and were burning garbage in them. All the smoke was going into neighboring homes.

I think we r all going to have r opinion on which is best, but we all know which is best. Just kidding. Like other have said choose wisely, look at others tools u may need in the future and price them out in different manufacturers. It will give u a ruff idea of what that lines going to cost u in the long run.

In case anyone is wondering the edge were the fireplace meets up with wall looks unfinished. I actually created a groove there for the log siding to slide into. Hides the ends for a more finished look. At least that's the theory anyway.

The fireplace is done. Calculating up labor- figure I had 160 hours into the project. Not to bad for a novice. Figure I saved about $4000. Now I just have to finish the walls with log siding, like the rest of the room. It was a lot of hard work, but glad I accomplished it.

Not a blonde joke, but here's one u guys might like. 3 nurses are working in the morgue when they notice a body with a hard on. The first nurse says I just can't pass it up, so she mounts him. When she's done the second nurse says well hell its a waste not to and she mounts him. The 3 nurse is thinking well I'm on my period and probably shouldn't, but decided to anyway. After she is finished the body sits up. 1 of the nurses says oh my god we thought u were dead. He replies I was but after 2 jump starts and a transfusion, I'm alive.

If I understand what your talking about, I had same problem. I had to buy a special switch, looked at original and order the same kind and was easy to install.
