olletsocmit
So I thought the boots were only for the torque wrenches. But I just saw this on IG. Are they available for all the tools outside the US or do they fit some how. First time I have ever see on a impact driver...
JimboS1ice
That's a EU battery but the glove will fit the 1/4" impact... BUT like the picture shows, it covers the chuck on it and makes it hard to use, so I doesn't truly fit, now if you would cut the boot a little bit back that would help, make sense? BMack37
The Impact wrenches I have are about the same size as the impact drivers, I bet that's where the boot came from. Good eye on that Jimbo, I didn't notice that until you said it. It might explain the usage setup there.
olletsocmit
I think the boots are pretty cool would definitely be nice to have one for my drill to protect it better I don't know why they only make them for the wrenches

Bremon
Yeah, exactly. Carpentry is clean work comparatively. Working on the truck with dirt and grease I appreciate keeping the power tools in good shape.
NicholasShetley
I didn't buy a boot for my m18 impact and this is what it looks like after a few months of use.
Bremon
Looks pretty good. To be fair, whatever the white crap they paint their embossed logo with comes off just be looking at it, so your impact looks like it's just had a few dings here and there. Not bad at all! Looks like it does work instead of collect dust.
NicholasShetley
Surprisingly the white is still almost perfect on my 2763 1/2 impact. I think the only fluids that have touched it are motor oil and gear oil and it didn't hurt it at all. It has fell off a lift a couple of times and it didn't bother it a bit.
