Conductor562 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 Looks like Makita finally released their LXOB01 18V cordless orbital sander in the states. It's an interesting concept and early reviews indicate "surprising runtime". While the $279 kit price is a bit steep for a sander, those already vested in the LXT line may find the $109 bare tool price a risk worth taking. Any thoughts? That sander is top of the list but I had a jigsaw that was pretty awful too. Makitas 18v multi tool would be much more appropriate as a detail sander for the work that I end up with.LOL B&D have made some crap over the years and so have Rockwell LOLBoth companies started out with first rate products and then hopped on the "value engineering" bandwagon and ended up poorly.
