EEtwidget
I'm a fan of the Hilux. It's why I own a 1986 4RUNNER. My snorkel is coming soon. Besides water crossing, it rams cool, dry, clean air. A great modification
TD-Millwork&Metal
I'd give up my left nut for either a 22re Hilux or 4-Runner from down south. Almost had my hands on one last year from Nevada on ebay but I was outbid at the last second....

EEtwidget
TD-Millwork&Metal: Actually I ripped the 22re out and it's got a 5vz-fe with TRD Supercharger from a 1998 4Runner. I come across 1st gens all the time in California. They are usually in great shape too. I can always be your proxy if needed. My buddy/neighbor owns a company called Blazeland He makes long travel suspension kits for first gen 4runners and 1/2nd gen mini trucks. Great stuff & much cheaper then Total Chaos.
