Jronman
wow this was unexpected and out of the blue from DeWALT. Guess they realize they need to start competing with Milwaukee. Looks cool. I wonder if it has tool connect functionality.

Throw in some some Sharkbite or Gatorbite push on fittings and you can work wonders with it. P.S.- I am not a plumber either!

JRS5565
Pretty sure the M12 version cost me 399 and it works very well. Only problem with it is on one inch fittings it really has to work hard.

Temporary repairs/mock ups and exposed fittings are the ONLY situations where these should even be remotely considered. Even then, I avoid at any cost.
overanalyze
In my area Pex-B is almost the only thing you see. Nice that they are adding to their line to compete though.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I have a few in the house, the first of which has been on a piece of PVC for 15 years or so. it was undone 2-3 times until the length of the pipe was perfect. I like the ones with a 1/4 turn cutoff valve for use on any of the bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Nowhere near as cheap as a soldered connection, but no fear of setting a vanity or cabinet on fire accidentally.
