Pouet
It's seem to be a 2x20V :
Big Adam
Can fit two FVs in there.
BigTuras
Is that a 20", was hoping for a 21". It seems a little small, also very non existing looking.
Big Adam
A 60V mower would be just willy-waving. If what you're cutting needs 60V, you shouldn't be using a mower. Given Dewalt's entire OPE range to date has both 20V and 40V versions, I'd lay money that a 40V model is not far behind this. But a 2x 20V model is just what I'm after. I'm assuming the quoted 1/4 acre runtime is for 2x 5Ah. Stick a couple of big FVs in there and I guess the runtime would (broadly) scale up accordingly. Rtorres092382
Think we'll ever see a rider mower powered by FV? Similar to the Ego that's currently on the market?
Framer joe
Gotta learn more about it....glad they made one..just not eye catching
BigTuras
They actually have a FV chainsaw/trimmer/blower so they have all three platforms in OPE.
Jronman
You could say atleast they have a mower but then you wonder why 20vx2 first and not 40v or 60v
Big Adam
Possibly because homeowners outnumber landscapers 100,000:1 ?? 60V tools are a big hit but overkill for majority of homeowners who've already bought into 20V 40V is for the professional landscaper/maintenance guy 20V is where the mass market is. SetBuilder
It will be a while before the pro landscaper even gives a glance towards battery power tools. I recently saw a video of a Makita chainsaw with two 18v batteries cutting a 6x6 and it was laughable. When I owned a tree svc I used to send all my saws out to be ported to get more power out of them, even the 088.

Jronman
This one seemed like a miss to me. It does have good looks though. I would miss using a side chute.

Big Adam
Some UK sites indicating a stock date of March 9th for the DCMW564: Ray Grahams Some nice shots of the European (18V XR branded) version on Tooled-Up £360 (US$488) for the bare tool though! Ouch!
Jronman
There is also a version that uses the 40v battery platform.
D W
This looks great. I hope it works well because it would be handy to have.
Jronman
Steel decks on cordless mowers are increasingly rare. To have a steel deck on both models is nice.

Grumpy MSG
An Email just popped into my inbox, Acme has listed the 2 X 20 volt mower for $ 399: http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/dewalt-dcmw220p2 If my old gas powered mower ever dies, this might get a serious look, no engine to maintain, it takes the same batteries I already have. Seems like it is a little more expensive than a basic gas powered mower, but less than most higher quality mowers.

Thats not a bad price at all. I think my gas push mower was around the same price. It does have powered rear wheels with Toro's personal pace system which this doesn't have.
