Thanks DeWalt!

I had my first DeWalt battery failure a few weeks ago, a DCB204 with a date code of 05 47...  Contacted DeWalt yesterday and just received an email stating that a new battery is on the way!  Third time using the warranty and third time DeWalt has exceeded expectations.

DeWALT is pretty good with batteries. Basically no questions asked. Just send in the battery and get a new one a couple weeks later. Both times I had a Flex battery go bad I didn't need any proof of purchase. I also had a charger with a different fan noise that wasn't a big deal. Nothing that affected the function I was more curious what the deal was and I got a new in package one sent back to me. I did need it with my OMT though.

To add to this....our cordless FlexVolt tablesaw switch crapped out.(1 year old) I contacted Dewalt through email and in a couple days they emailed me a shipping label to send it to a service center for free. She said if it can’t be fixed, ( free under warranty) they will replace it...free....da bomb!!!!!

what happened to your switch?

i've noticed with mine that if you turn the saw on, you have to let the switch down gently, because if you let the switch drop, it will shutoff.  has done this since new.  assumed it was normal.

I never registered any of my tools 😿

I've only registered a couple.  DeWalt seems to go off the date code...so far I've warrantied a DS450, DCB102, and the DCB204 with no issues.
