DR99
The impact wrench/driver I assumeGreat idea by the wayIt's more of a impact driver with a 1/2 adapter than a true impact wrench. impact drivers and impact wrenches have different mechanisms on how they direct the force. Still its very cool idea as you lose a lot of torque when using socket adapters. Plus for some one like me I don't really need a true impact wrench for what I do it saves from buying another tool which is nice.
Javier
Good to know. I assumed that they used the same mechanism just a bigger beefier hammer or anvil for the impact wrenches.I remember learning about this core impact driver on toolguyd, I think you get higher torque when using the 1/2" socket. Ill see if I can find that info to double check
Javier
Well I was partially right. I did find a Bosch impactor driver with a 1/2" socket but the info about the higher torque when using the socket was for a similar Bosch impactor that wasn't the core brushless model. http://toolguyd.com/bosch-18v-impact-driver-wrench/
