Battery powered, no. If they both have the same power, The next thing to consider is price and warranty. Milwaukee is cheaper and has a 5 year warranty. And when you're done with your automotive task, pop the battery in your skill saw for your home projects. Can't do that with IR. I'm a HUGE IR fan with 20+ air tools.
