Altan Posted April 9, 2022 Author Report Posted April 9, 2022 I like the idea, why splashback instead of a window if possible?
Altan Posted April 9, 2022 Author Report Posted April 9, 2022 Some photos of nice kitchen cabinet units.
Altan Posted April 9, 2022 Author Report Posted April 9, 2022 Here you can see the long unit doors start from the floor and no skirting.
wingless Posted April 9, 2022 Report Posted April 9, 2022 Our AirBnB has a window w/o cabinet above. Really tall stuff is unusable w/o a ladder. Some doors (floor to ceiling) are probably custom. 1
Altan Posted April 9, 2022 Author Report Posted April 9, 2022 The skirting is in line with the doors in this one.

Yes, in most cases the doors and units are custom made in this type of kitchens.
Eric - TIA Posted April 11, 2022 Report Posted April 11, 2022 Nice kitchens but above my pay grade. Nothing better than a good looking, clean kitchen design 1

I've finished our bathroom which I designed myself and am pleased with with built in cabinets like a mini kitchen, but the kitchen is a bit more involved. It's quite a fairly small room and it has three doorways so there isn't a huge amount of space, so I think the layout needs some careful thought. Or perhaps the current layout is about as good as it can be?
