cbielich
Anyone have any opinions on the Proto Air Impact Wrench. Looking at some reviews and was interested in seeing if anyone else has one they can tell me. Particularly the J150WP
firefighter4187
How did his review end up over there haha?? Conductor im sure will comment, hes the one that did the review.
Conductor562
I wrote that review, but I've never heard of that website. The J150WP is an awesome gun. The comfort and balance are fantastic and it's got enough power to do anything you need to do. As I stated in my review, I outfitted all my stuff with Milton P Type fittings, but if I had it to do over J'd have went with the M Type because the coupler also accepts standard I/M fittings. The absence of the rubber boot was my only complaint, but if you really need one, the Mac boot should fit it. I found it online as cheap as $289. You won't find a better price on a gun of this caliber.

Conductor562
Eric & Dan, that site is stealing your content!I talked to Eric about it earlier. RedSionnach
Unfortunately a lot of this kind of crap happens on the web. I've seen whole blogs copied. They slap a new logo and a different by line and poof instant blog with out all that pesky work and knowledge stuff. It's not much solace but at least you got credit. Conductor562
I guess that's just a part of it. Some kind of scam for advertising money I'm sure. You aren't going to get rich running a tool blog, but I would like to see Dan and Eric do well enough to cover the costs of the site. I can't say that they do or don't, but assholes like this certainly don't help.

RedSionnach
I was trying to find a story I read on a photography blog, he fought a plagiarist by changing the picture links to porn pics. I'll keep trying to find it.Here are a couple other links. http://wordful.com/how-to-fight-blog-plagiarism-guerrilla-style/ http://www.orbitmedia.com/blog/web-content-plagiarism/

NicholasShetley
How do you like the impact now that you have used it some? Where would be a good place to get one of these from? I might get one ordered this week.
Conductor562
Tools Plus has the for $269 and free shipping, that's the cheapest around. Google Proto J150WP and it'll pop up. Be sure not to get the J150WPC. That's the compact model. It has about half the power and is only $10 cheaper. The gun is awesome man. You'll love it. Light, balanced, comfortable, and super powerful. No complaints at all except for the absence of the protective boot.

NicholasShetley
I wouldn't get one. It would make it bigger. I just clean mine when I am done.
Conductor562
The boot isn't too important, just enables you to be less careful about laying it and sliding it around on concrete.
NicholasShetley
It won't bother me. I don't care what a tool looks like so long as if works.
