mikealoh
I bought the dw718 and have the stand for it. Can someone tell me if I can put a planer or any other tools on it? I bought extra brackets and may even concider putting a small table saw on it if it can hold it. Any input would be helpful!!!
kanxrus
I don't know first hand, but I would imagine you could modify (drill new holes) the mounting brackets? A table saw might now fit, unless it's a small portable unit.
j booher
I modified my 723 stand to be able to use it both with my miter saw or my 745 compact table saw
kjones
Nice! That looks awesome! I have heard of some guys putting their table saws on these, but until now I haven't seen a picture!
ToolGeek
Nice setup! Good choice on the router as well!
deedub35
I modified my 723 stand to be able to use it both with my miter saw or my 745 compact table saw I am intrigued. With the 745 attached to the 718 brackets (without the router) is the weight pretty balanced on the 723 stand? Looks like the majority of the 745 is to the right. Mr. Yellow
Smaller machines will work, but for the tablesaw I much prefer the rolling stand DW7440RS. Seems like a nice fit for the DW733 as well.
j booher
Most of the time the router table is not attached. It is just bolted on. I have ripped 1x and 2x material with no stability issues. My outfeed support also shifts to the right when using the table saw.
