madmaxz Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 ive seen a couple versions of dewalts dw3232pt 80 tooth precision trim blade. i got mine at lowes and its been great. i was just there this afternoon and saw that the blade looks a little different... what is the difference? which one is newer/older? i have this one" lowes now has this one
framer Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 i think the only difference is the laser-cuts on the blade, which help reduce deflection i believe. the second blade is the more recent version.
madmaxz Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 the second one deffinetly has a different hook angle from the looks of it in the store
madmaxz Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 I think the first one , the one I have now is the newer design. I looked at it again and the 2nd one / older one the pakaging is faded and dusty. I also noticed it has a negative hook angle unlike mine with a +7* hook
CarolSwayze3 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 I think the only difference is, the first one looks different as compared to another one. Not an internal difference it means functions must be same. :)
