SouthPark
OK so... The 115 has the handle and has lower RPM BUT WHY are the internal parts different? The 114 has several motor protection features. SO WHICH IS BEST? SECOND QUESTION: CAN THE 5-6" HAND GRINDER USE THE 4.5" WHEELS? THIRD: WHICH IS MORE POWERFUL AND LONGER LASTING...... 5-6" MODELS OR 4.5" MODELS?
kjones
Yes it can handle the 4.5", just always verify the wheel you are using can handle the speed of the grinder. The D28114 has the CEC electronic control system; most people love it, but some do not, so both options are available. As far as which is better, I would of course suggest the 114. The theory behind the electronic controls is to make it better, and in my experience, I have only seen 2 users out of hundreds that I work with who worked in situations where the electronics didn't work well for them. I would say that 99%+ of users would prefer the CEC.
