sevansx
I just purchased this router with both bases. The plunge base's sub-base is not designed to hold bushings. It looks as if an adapter is required. I am not able to find this adapter anywhere. Is the adapter available? Is there a sub-base for the plunge base that will accept bushings? Gatorb8881393434512
Are you referring to the edge guide? If so, the one pictured is the DW6913 and works with the plunge base to my understanding. There is also the DNP618 which works with the standard base, according to reviews on amazon it also will work with the plunge base.
sevansx
No, not discussing the edge guide. The sub-base should have a round hole to install bushings that the bit would go through to keep the bit away from a surface, such as using an inlay bushing. Mr. Yellow
The base should have 2 little screws on a recessed area where you can attach the bushings. It works like that on the EU version of this router. Edit, see this. Hope it helps...
Mr. Yellow
I made some pictures from my router today. This should make it more clear...
