NicholasShetley
Has anyone used them and if so what do you like or don't like about them? I am thinking about picking up this set.http://m.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Hand-Tool-Combo-Set-4-Piece-48-22-3094/203631758
Conductor562
I personally have no Milwaukee hand tools, but the guys that do seem to be very happy with them.
DR99
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Hand-Tool-Combo-Set-6-Piece-48-22-0001B/204367225I have this set and have been completely happy with it so far I got it for 40 dollars during one of Home Depots Deal of the day sales about a year ago. I also ended up getting a bunch a Knipex on clearance at Lowes too. I'm pretty well stocked on electrical tools.
mustang347
I only have the wire strippers and I love them. A side from the kit you linked I also have 4 different versions of their slip joint pliers and the needle nose pliers. All get pretty much daily use and are nicely made tools. Javier
Dang that's expensive. DR99 Let me know when you see that deal again for $
K.C
I use all their skip joint pliers also at work. For electrical I've been enjoying the 6-1 needlenose and their linesman pliers. I have not tried their side cutters yet, but I do own almost every other hand tool they make
Harold Wray
I also have the wire stripper/ needle nose pliers and the 11 in 1 screwdriver. They are all great.
TylerDama
The Linesmen's are AMAZING (just below Klein Journeymen 2000), they have a fish tape puller the will not kink you tape unlike most... the only down side is they are a tad on the heavy side. PT Custom
KC. Linesman pliers are side cutters. Do you mean "dykes" or diagonal cutters?
Pennywise
Could be from the uk, in which case he may mean side cutters as in the US dykes
K.C
Could be from the uk, in which case he may mean side cutters as in the US dykes This is correct I was referring to the dykes, just never liked the tip layout of the Milwaukee's
Brien
I have the linesman pliers too and have no issues. I have only used them for up to 12-3 and they don't even hesitate. 6 gauge = no prob. They can twist bundles with the best of them. I have never used the reaming function or the shearing screws function. Don't tell Milwaukee, the hammer function is top notch for punch outs...
46and2
Love the lineman pliers. No problems and they still work great after 6 months of demo.
